Author pov:-

It’s a bright Saturday morning, birds chirping outside, with cool breeze blowing inside, sun rays peek inside to disturb the sleep of our beautiful couple, who slept late night after celebrating their wedding anniversary together. They were so happy to be in each other’s life.

    For him,
       she was meaning of love, she was his world, his panda, he was proud of her fierce side and of course her jealousy, which was his favorite side of her, so  he always raises it to peaks.

   For her,

          He was her strength, protector, supporter, her home where she can do whatever she wants. She loves his protection and care.

    Rishi steered in sleep due to entry of sunlight into the room, looking at the time he realized that he was late and looked aside to see his beautiful panda sleeping hugging him as a kola beer. He tried to wake her up, but her sleepy head didn’t even move. After a lot of struggle he got up from bed and went to freshen up.

Rishi’s pov:-

   I went to freshen up, after struggling hard to get out of my panda’s grip. I was in deep shock till now. My panda gave me a beautiful surprise, on our first anniversary, I still can’t believe it was true. I was stunned by her surprise .

    FLASH BACK:-

      I was hell tired as I had a hectic day at work, I came back late at night, I had dinner with a client, after entering home, I went directly to our room and saw my sleeping Beauty was sleeping hugging a pillow. I went to the wash room to change into night ware and then went straight to bed.

    I woke up from sleep by sudden shaking, I woke up suddenly and saw my wife she was beautiful and cute in her red saree.

Maya: “ Rishi wake up fast it’s 11:55. We need to cut the cake it’s our anniversary, come on get up now.”

Rishi:- “ slow down my excited panda. I am waking up, wait a minute.”

    I woke up from bed  and went to the balcony where my wife decorated it very beautifully. Suddenly some one shouted in my ear.

Maya:- “ happy anniversary my love.”

Rishi:- “ ouch, Maya my ears slowly. Happy anniversary my love.”


Maya:- “ thank you and happy anniversary to you. Now let’s cut the cake, I have been waiting for so long.”

Rishi:- “ yes my panda, come let’s cut the cake, it looks cute like you.   My panda.”

    I told her and she huffed being offended, but she can’t stay angry for more time, especially not after getting a tight hug from me. After that we cut the cake and I gave her a beautiful anklet as a gift. She was so happy and jumping like a monkey after receiving them.

     Maya:- “ wow, Rishi it is so cute and beautiful, can you please put it on for me. Please, pretty please 🥺.”

     Rishi:- “ can I resist when you ask so cutely, come here.”

   I made her sit on a chair present in the balcony and put an anklet on her feet. She got excited and started walking here and there. I caught in place and asked.

  Rishi:- “ ok now where is my gift 🎁.”

Maya:- “ your gift, sorry Rishi while planning for this surprise I forget about ur gift.”

    I got suspicious and looked at her narrowing my eyes.

   Maya:- “ ok fine here you go. Now  open fast .”   

    It was a small box wrapped in a gift cover, I slowly opened it and was stunned, it contains a pregnancy kit and report. It means she was pregnant and I was becoming a father . I am so excited to speak about anything . I came back to reality by her continuous shaking , then  hugged her tightly and poured out all my emotions to her. After that we both went to sleep.

After getting fresh I  went to the balcony and saw my cute panda standing there and thinking something. I went and stood behind her.


Rishi:-“ what happened to my panda, what are you thinking about?”

Maya:- “you know there are some pages in my life book, which I never go through again, but harder I try to get over them difficult it is becoming for me to forget that pain, that sleepless nights I spent to become strong and move on.”

  Rishi:- “Maya, I know what ur trying to say, I don’t tell you to forget them, just try to move on , because no one is perfect, every one has their own darks it is hard to forget it. So the only thing we can do is move on by accepting that darkness in your life. I know my panda can overcome it. I know you can move on and you also have me to help you to move on.”

   Maya:- “ I know I have you, and I will definitely move on from it, thank you Rishi for coming into my life and making it beautiful. I love you ❤️.”

  Rishi:- “ I love you ❤️.”

After that we went into our and I made her sleep as there is time to go to breakfast.
