Months passed, and Y/n found themselves caught in a tangled web of emotions. Their text conversations with Muichiro had only deepened their feelings, despite knowing that he was already in a committed relationship. It felt like a forbidden love, a distant star that they admired but couldn't reach.

Even in the depths of their jealousy, Y/n couldn't help but support Muichiro and Nezuko's relationship. They knew that Muichiro's dream was to become a writer, and he had confided in Y/n about his plans to write a story for Nezuko. It seemed like their love story was perfect in every way.

During their conversations, Muichiro would even share poems he had written for Nezuko. Each one resonated deeply with Y/n, igniting a desire to be in Nezuko's place. But as the days went by, Y/n noticed a change. Muichiro suddenly stopped texting them.

At first, it was just for a day, and then that day turned into a week, which then stretched into a month. Y/n couldn't handle the silence any longer and decided to reach out to him, hoping he was okay.

"Hey, Tokito, are you okay?" Y/n sent the message, anxiously awaiting a response. But all they received was a simple "delivered" notification. Days passed, and still, there was no reply. Y/n's heart sank, contemplating blocking Muichiro's number and moving on.

However, just as they were about to make that decision, a notification popped up on their screen. It was a reply from Muichiro.

"Honestly, no! I'm not fine," Muichiro's message read, revealing that Nezuko had broken up with him. Y/n was taken aback, not knowing how to respond to his pain.

"She said she fell out of love," he continued, his heartache evident in his words.

Y/n remembered a piece of advice someone once shared - that when you fall out of love, you shouldn't leave just yet, as that's often when true love begins to emerge.

Months passed, and Y/n stayed by Muichiro's side, offering him comfort and helping him through his difficult time. As their bond grew stronger, F/n encouraged Y/n to seize the opportunity and confess their feelings to Muichiro.

"This is your chance to confess your feelings to Muichiro!" F/n urged.

Uncertainty filled Y/n's voice as they replied, "I don't know, F/n. I don't think it's a good idea."

"Of course it is! Take the risk, Y/n!" F/n insisted.

"But what if he rejects me? What if it becomes awkward between us? Our friendship could be ruined," Y/n contemplated, their fear overshadowing their desire.

F/n glared at Y/n, questioning their hesitations. "Are you really going to keep your feelings to yourself? What if he feels the same way?"

Y/n sighed and turned away. "Muichiro loves Nezuko, F/n. You know that."

"But they broke up. Nezuko fell out of love, remember?" F/n challenged.

"What makes you think Muichiro doesn't love her anymore?"

"Just like he said, Y/n. He already moved on, and you helped him do that," F/n stated matter-of-factly.

"I just don't believe him," Y/n confessed, their eyes distant.

"Why not?"

"What if he's lying? It's easier to lie, isn't it?"

F/n's voice softened. "Take the risk, Y/n. What if another girl comes into his life? You'll regret it if someone else takes your place."

Y/n's phone vibrated, a notification indicating a text from Tokito, Muichiro's nickname. Sensing the perfect opportunity, F/n urged Y/n to open it.

"Well, what are you waiting for, Y/n? Open it," F/n said with a teasing smile.

Hesitant but curious, Y/n opened the message from Muichiro.

"Hi, Y/n. I wanted to ask you something," the message read.

"Go on, Tokito," Y/n responded eagerly.

"Okay, so you already know that I've moved on from Nezuko, right?"

"Yeah, you told me that," Y/n confirmed.

"Is it alright if I ask someone else out?" Muichiro asked, his apprehension evident.

Y/n looked up at F/n, seeking guidance. F/n rolled her eyes and urged them on. "What should I reply?" Y/n asked.

"Seriously? Ask him who he's going to ask out," F/n retorted.

"Yeah, you're right. Sorry," Y/n chuckled nervously.

"Who are you going to ask out, Tokito?" Y/n typed, holding their breath.

"She's from your school, Y/n!" Muichiro revealed.

"Can you tell me her name?" Y/n inquired, their heart pounding.

"Her name is Ome, Y/n," Muichiro shared.

A mix of emotions flooded Y/n's thoughts as they considered their next move. Perhaps, just perhaps, there was still a chance for their own love story to unfold.
