Summary: Joe was out at a bar he didn't even want to be at but soon was happy about going when he saw a beautiful girl singing karaoke

Joe's POV
I was out with boys catching up in the neon light
Ja'Marr had called me and said he was picking me up to take me to a bar. I really didn't want to go because one I don't like drinking, two it's a night before a big game, and three I had just broken up with my girlfriend of two years so I was not really in the mood to do anything. But Ja'Marr didn't really give me a choice and was already pulling up and honking.
I looked in the mirror to see if what I was wearing was good. Just a white tshirt with black jeans. Yeah this seemed alright so I walked out and got into the car "I really hate you for this Ja'Marr" I say as I close the door making him roll his eyes "Burrow, you haven't been out for a guys night since you started that relationship so this is to make up for it" he says.
Didn't know 'til we walked it was karaoke night
He wasn't 100% wrong so I guess he was right. He soon pulled up to the bar and got out and walked right in to hear some singing horribly and that's when I realized. Karaoke night. God if this night couldn't get any worse. I looked around for the other guys and we soon found them so we walked up to them and all said hello. We soon heard a bunch of cheers coming from across the bar making me look over and noticing a group of girls doing shots of tequila. Who wants to do that to themselves?
She was in a circle of girls, chasin' a shot with a lime She was laughin', they were darin' her to get on the mic
However there was one girl who stood out from all of the rest of the girls. She had the prettiest brown hair that was just curled to perfection and seemed to have these piercing blue eyes that anyone from across the bar could see. Very tanned skin that looked like she had just came back from a beach somewhere because of how fresh the tan was. A smile that made everyone else smile. She was gorgeous. I am guessing her friends were trying to get her to sing but she didn't want to.
One of 'em walked up and turned in her name
Next thing I knew, man, she was up on the stage, singin'
That's when one of her friends goes up and says something to the DJ who then smiles and nods saying "Y/N you're up next to sing Heads Carolina Tails California" making her jaw drop and look at her friend that's coming back to her laughing at what's happening.
Soon she walks up and grabs the microphone and starts to sing the song. Her voice is actually beautiful. All of my friends end up stopping and listening to her sing. All of her friends were cheering and singing along to the song. I have never heard of the song but honestly I would listen to it just because of her.
"Heads Carolina, tails California"
Maybe she'd fall for a boy from South Georgia
She's got the bar in the palm of her hand
At this point the whole bar had stopped what they were doing and was listening to her sing. I couldn't help the smile and looked at my friends who were already were walking to the stage and where the other girls were so I followed them all.
Yeah, she knew every word by heart, didn't need no screen, no I was raisin' my glass up for her, I saw her smilin' at me, yeah She had me down in the front by the end of verse two Like there wasn't no-one else in the room, we were singin'
I smile as she was singing every word by heart and started to cheer for her. She must have heard because she looked over at me and smiled as she continued singing and didn't once stop singing. I smiled and was jamming out with everyone. She soon finished and everyone was cheering, hooting and hollering for this girl because she was just that good.
She laughed and walked to her friends. I figured that'd be the last of me seeing her so me and my friends went back to our spot and just started all talking and hanging out. That was until I felt someone tap my shoulder making me turn around and there she was.
Right in front of me looking even more beautiful up close "Hi, I heard you cheering and figured I'd come say hello" she says. I smile and nod "You were really amazing, like one of the best singing voices I've heard" I say. She smiles and blushes "Thanks, hey why don't you guys hang out with me and my friends?" she suggests. I nod and smirk "Only if you'll let me take you out" I say getting confident.
She blushes again and nods "I would love that" she says and then I smile telling my friends what's going on and we all head over "I'm Y/N, by the way" she says. God even her name is beautiful. I smile "I'm Joe Burrow" I say. And from there we've continued to all hangout and have fun together.
She truly had me at Heads Carolina.
