Summary: While in college you go to the bar and Joe looks like he loves you

Well I saw him walk in, with his cowboy hat
And I thought to myself, I could use some of that
I was at the bar after a long day of doing exams and class work with my friends. We were just chit chatting when I saw him walk in through the door. This man was a man everyone knew, hell I even knew him.
But tonight I had my eye on him. The way his LSU hat sat on top of his head, the black tshirt he was wearing was clinging to his body in a way I wish I was. The only thought I had was 'I want me some of that.'
His boots like glass on a sawdust floor, huh
Had moved like I had never seen before
He moved around the bar to where his friends were with this glide that is making everyone stop and look at him. He had a confidence with every step of the way. I smiled and said out loud "I want some of him" making my friends look at me and then him and laugh "That's Joe Y/N" they said. I looked at them "I know and I think he looks like he loves me" I say making them laugh again. I start to kind of notice him to look at me which makes me think 'Maybe he wants me as much as I want him'.
So I walked right up, and I pulled him to the side I handed that man a beer and looked him right in the eyes and I said "Baby I think you're gonna wanna hear this"
I had noticed he was drinking a water, not much of a drinker I guess, so I asked the bartender for one. She hands it to me and I turn to my friends "I'll be back" I say getting up. Once they notice where I'm going they cheer me on making me laugh. I reach him and say "Excuse me?" making him look at me.
I smile handing him the glass of water "I think you might want to hear this" I say. He smiles and takes it "Oh yeah and what might that be?" he asks. I blush a bit as he takes a sip of the water I got for him.

You look like you want me to want you to come on home
I think about what I wanna say. Once I get exactly what I want to say, I clear my throat take a sip of my beer, for some liquid courage, and say "I think you look like you love me". I kind of shock myself that I was confident enough to say that. Not as shocked as he was but he laughs slightly "Oh is that so?" he says. I nod even more confident than before.

I'm drunk and I'm ready to leave
And you look like you love me
I take another sip of my drink and then say "You have been looking at me the same way I have been looking at me" making him nod. He leans onto the bar to get closer to me "And what look is that exactly?" he asks making me smile making eye contact "Like you love me" I laugh making him laugh with me and nod "I'm drunk and I am about ready to leave too" I say. He smiles and nods "Alright let's go" he says making me smile.
Joe's POV
Well I was down at a local beer joint with a few of the guys
When this cute little country girl caught my eye
And boy let me tell you, she was the prettiest thing
I'd ever seen in a pair of boots
It was after practice on a friday when my boys, Ja'Marr and Justin, texted me about going to one of the bars. So I figured why not? I haven't been out in a while and deserved a night out. So I walked in and went right up to the boys "Ayeee there's mister Joe Burrow" Ja'Marr says. I roll my eyes and do the dude hand shake with them.
I sit down observing the whole bar, there's some locals, some students, but one person in particular stops me in my tracks. There's this girl that is the prettiest thing I have ever laid eyes on. The way her eyes sparkle when she smiles or laughs about something. Her hair falls just perfectly around her frame. I notice her look at me making me smile knowing I've got her attention.
Well she walked right up to me, handed me a beer
Gave me this look like "Let's get out of here"
And that's when I realized she's every cowboys dream come true
I was talking when I hear an "Excuse me" causing me to look down at her. She had this look in her eyes that was almost a let's leave together kind of look. I wanted to so badly. Seeing her up close was just perfect. She was the girl I have always dreamed of having since I can remember. She smiles her perfect pearly white smile "I think you might want to hear this" she says. I am captivated by her "Oh yeah and what would that be?" I ask.
She told me this right here
She said
Excuse me, you look like you love me
You look like you want me to take you home
She begins to think about what she says as she takes a sip of her beer. Once she's confident enough she says "You look like you love me" making me kind of shocked. I think she shocked her self that she said that because her eyes widened a bit making me chuckle. I speak up "Oh is that so?" making her smile more confident then earlier and nods.

I'm drunk and I'm ready to leave

She says "You've been looking at me the same way I've been looking at you so I know you want the same as me" making me smile. I lean into the bar to get closer to her. The closer I am the more I notice every single perfection of her face. From the way she smiles making her eyes crinkle a little bit. Her cheeks having freckles scattered across them making me more attracted to her "Oh is that so?" I ask.
She nods "What exactly is that look?" I ask her and she chuckles making eye contact "Like you love me" she says. I start to laugh a bit making her laugh as well "I am also drunk and ready to leave too" she says. I think about it and smile nodding "Let's go" I say.
I turn to the boys saying "I am going to get out of here." They look at me with an are you serious look? Then Ja'Marr notices her behind me waiting for me and he smirks "Ohhh ok see ya Burrow" he says. Justin is just still confused making me roll my eyes walking to her taking her hand walking out with her.
She stops at her friends "I'll see you guys tomorrow ok?" she asks and they have their jaws almost on the floor. The one smiles and says "Have fun girl" making us both chuckle and head on out.
So if you ever see a man in a cowboy hat
And you think to yourself, I could use some of that

A/N: Guys I am soooo sorry I suck at updating! I have been working like crazy at my new full
time job while also working my other part time job.
