I'm Okay

Chapter 12

     After the ball, Theo and I went on a few dates, which I have liked, but I'm going to end it as I just can't get myself to like him like that. I think he thinks the same thing, but I don't know.

     But that's for another time, as right now, I'm getting ready for the second task. I've got an hour to save Theo, or the spell they put over him will wear out, and he'll most likely drown.

     I was at the starting point, and was mentally preparing myself to dive into this water, as vampires have a natural fear of it. We also have it with fire, but I think I can overcome it.

     After Dumbledore's speech, the cannon sounded, and we all jumped into the water. I was using the bubble head charm, like everyone else.

     Once in the water, I felt an overwhelming fear overtake me, but I took some deep breaths and overcame it. Once I was alright, I started swimming through the water.

     As I was swimming through the seaweed, I heard something happening around me, it also felt like something was touching me, but I knew it was a trick to get me to leave the water. But it appeared to work on Fluer as I heard her cast a spell to shoot her out of the water.

     After being down here for about 40 minutes, I found where they were keeping the valuables. Which, as I expected, was the person you most value.

     I saw Cedric untied Cho, and another rope thing just standing there, so I knew Krum already save Herminion, and got first place.

     I untied Theo and was about to untie Fleur's sister when a merfolk smacked my hand with their tail.

     "Only one," it said before swimming away.

     Like hell I will. I thought before quickly untieing the girl and putting her with Theo. I knew letting them float up to the surface without me would be better. I was going to swim up with them.

     It was only a minute after I untitled Gabrielle, and the merfolk were trying to drown me. I decided not to fight them. Instead, I let them think they were winning as they won't eat me.

     Once they thought I was dead, they left me alone. I used ascendio to blast me out of the water. I landed on the place we dove off of, with a little roll. I sat up and looked around.

     I saw everyone looking at me. I stood up, and still, no one moved.

     Fuck this. "I'm alive. Sorry your prayers weren't answered. Maybe you should grow some and kill me yourself," I yelled while spinning to look at every one.

     This got everyone's attention, and they made some noise. I walked away from the place as I didn't care who won and lost. All I wanted was for everything to end.

     I was almost inside Hogwarts when I heard I got third place because Fleur didn't complete the challenge. I walked all the way in and went to my room. I'm probably going to end things with Theo tomorrow, so it didn't go on any long than needed. We aren't dating, just went on a few dates.

     It's the next day, and people were still looking at me weirdly, but I ignored them and looked for Theo. I found him in the corridor Draco and Blaise. I didn't care to do this in public, but I didn't want Rita taking a photo or twisting this in the wrong way.

     "Theo, I need to talk with you."

     Draco made a joke about him being in trouble, but I ignored it.

     Theo followed me, and when we were alone, I said, "I don't like you in a romantic way, so I shouldn't go on any more dates with you."

     "Glad I wasn't the only one," He said.

     Once that was done, he walked back to his friends, and I walk back to my dorm.
