Taking a deep breath, I knew what I had to do. I started to bring the shield I placed around the house and waited for the right time. But when that elf appeared, I panicked and dropped my spell for a second.

I acted quickly and brought the shield back up. I then did my plan.

As the Order looked at the house, the sounds suddenly disappeared. Snape knew that Vale had something to do with it, so he tried to run to the front door, but was stopped, by an invisible force.

Then the house started to shake. The invisible force that stopped Severus from getting closer disappeared and the house seemed to be buckling under an invisible pressure.

Sirius ran past Severus, but stopped when the house came down. Everyone gasped at it, no one daring to move. Wind whipped through them, till the dust settled. Aurors also showed up and looked at the house.

When the dust settled, the Aurors had to stop Sirius from running towards the house as there might be Death Eaters under the rumble. Remus grabbed Sirus to make sure he didn't do anything stupid while the Aurors checked out the house.

After 30 minutes, Kingsley came back with Vale's satchel and jacket. He had a sad look on his and mumbled an apology. Sirius broke down again, sad he couldn't fix his relationship with his daughter and the last genuine conversation he had with her was an argument.

They went back home and no one was saying anything. Most of the people in the house were facing the fact someone they thought was a death eater actually died defending them. Then, the people who knew the truth were suffering the loss of a good friend.

Severus had went through Vale's bag when he got home and grabbed the notebook she had. Opening it, it was nothing but letters addressed to different people.

He read the ones addressed to him, tearing out and organizing what pages belonged to who, as that's what she said to do at the beginning of the book when he got to the last page.

The page said to read in front of everyone, so it was placed in a pile with two other pages before standing up and calling down Draco, Blaise, and Theo.

"We're going to Bla-Sirius' house." He changed it from Black to Sirius as Vale asked him to, showing how he also did stupid stuff as a kid, and that doesn't have to define him.

They protested, but he shut that down and made them get ready and they flou over there. He also called everyone else who needed to be there, so the Weasley family, Cedric, and Hermione, and started handing out letters to them. Harry and Remus were staying at Sirius' house, so they only needed to come downstairs with Sirius.

Everyone read their letters, even Regules, as she put a spell on the letters addressed to him so he could read them.

One of Severus' letters said, "Sev, you were the father I never had. If I could, I would came back and try to have a father-daughter relationship with you. But now you have to try to be a dad to Blaise, Draco, and Theo. Let them know they are worthy of being loved, which I know will be hard for you, and you also can't be as cold-hearted as you were before. The person who killed Lily is dead.It wasn't your fault, even if you want to believe that. Peter Pettigrew was the one who knew where the Potters were. He also learned about the prophecy, even before you shared it. And it did come true. It said, 'On the end of July, the Chosen One will be born.' When you get bitten by a Vampire, you are reborn.

You can't blame yourself for the death of Lily, it was going to happen anyway. And now you have Three teenage boys at your house who've experienced hell. You have to step up and be the father you never had, but the one I know you can be. And this isn't the end for me, it's just a 'see you later.'
