"What did I do wrong?" The nature element asked, tears threatening to fall down at any moment. "Why is everyone acting so mean today..." The poor boy mumbled again under his breath as he curled up into a ball, making himself feel as small as possible to not drag anyone's attention towards him, though there shouldn't be any people here anyway. He just needed some time to process his emotions and self reflect on what he's done wrong for everyone to act so mean towards him. As if the trees understood how he was feeling, the forest gave something that the busy household could never give him, peacefulness.

A few hours ago

A young teenager was sleeping soundly, the green blanket covering his body all the way up to his head. The sunlight has already peeked through the gap of the curtain, signifying it was time to wake up. But it was Saturday, and everyone could finally wake up late. The only sound heard was the sound of soft snoring accompanied by the sound of a ticking clock. Unfortunately, the silence didn't last long, as always.

"WAKEY WAKEY, EGGS AND BAKEY"

The teen made a small groan as he could hear the chaos in the house had already started, even on Saturdays, it seems like waking up late isn't an option. The sound of complaints from the unwelcomed alarm filled the halls. And finally, the sleepy boy emerged from his green cocoon otherwise known as a blanket and sat down on the bed, staying in place for a few minutes to wait for his mind to fully wake up.

"Good morning world..." He sighed and jumped off bed, opening the curtains and let the sunlight fill his room. It took his eyes only a few seconds to get used to the bright light, his emerald green eyes admired the beautiful garden right outside his room filled with flowers and fruits, all which he has grown and taken care of, with some help from his brothers too of course.

As he admired his garden through the window, he heard the door open from behind him. "Duri- Oh, you're already awake" Duri recognized the soft voice and he turned around instantly with a bright smile. "Good morning Gempa!"

"I need you to buy some groceries for me, here's the list" Gempa handed a list to Duri. The nature element user looked confused. It's not because of what's on the list, rather to the time the shopping list was given. It was still early morning, Duri hadn't even taken a bath yet. "Alright, but why so early?" Duri asked, still feeling a bit confused.

"We're almost out of cooking ingredients. Besides, you can go out and enjoy the fresh morning air while we're at it! You love that, right? So you better get a move on it. And don't stop to talk to anyone", replied Gempa, with an edge to his tone. Duri wasn't used to this kind of attitude from his older brother.

"Yes, big brother." He replied humbly as he took the list from the older earth-elemental. He was a little bit surprised by Gempa's attitude, but he understood it was not personal. After all, he was just doing what his big brother asked. "Is anyone going to accompany me?" Duri asked softly to not annoy Gempa even further. "The others are busy." Gempa answered almost instantly. Hearing the chaos of his brothers fighting outside, Duri had a hard time believing that but decided to just go along with it. "Uh-huh..."

"Okay then, I'll get going" Duri replied, and quickly walked out of the house, leaving the door open behind him. He was already feeling a bit annoyed, but there was no use arguing with Gempa. After all, he was the older brother and the most responsible one out of the 7 of them. Maybe he had a good reason why he was acting this way. Duri was determined to do a good job with the errand and make his brother proud.

As he walked alone in the streets, he couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy walking around on his own. Remembering the last two times he did, he almost got kidnapped by Adudu, and also once where he almost got hit by a car when crossing the streets. But that was all in the past, as long as he doesn't go through dark empty alleyways and not talk to strangers, he should be fine...
