Chapter 1 : Battle of Jade Mountain

   Jade Mountain Academy, home to the legendary Jade Winglet, found itself shrouded in chaos. The once peaceful mountain peak was now engulfed in a battle between Darkstalker and the Nightwing army against the Icewing forces led by their new queen, Snowfall. As the icy winds whipped through the air, Moonwatcher stood outside the entrance of the academy, peering out at the unfolding spectacle.

Moonwatcher, watching the battle through the thoughts of the dragons, took a deep breath, her eyes scanning the tumultuous scene. "We have to do something," she said, her voice filled with determination. "Darkstalker's magic is overwhelming the Icewings. They need our help."Winter, the stoic Icewing prince flew down exhausted from helping fight in the battle, nodded in agreement. "You're right, Moon. We can't just stand idly by while dragons are dying."

Qibli, ever clever Sandwing, chimed in, "But how do we even approach Darkstalker? He's way too powerful! We don't have any idea how to defeat him."Turtle, the quiet and contemplative SeaWing, spoke up. "We can't defeat him alone, but perhaps we can find a way to stop him from using magic temporarily, enough to give the Icewings a chance to regroup."

Kinkajou, the spirited Rainwing, landed beside the Jade Winglet that was gathered beside the vicious battle. "I have an idea! Remember how Darkstalker made a spell to protect himself from other animus's spells? Maybe we can use his own magic against him, so we can get passed that dumb enchantment and actually effect him."

The Jade Winglet nodded thoughtfully, their collective minds filled with a newfound determination. They stepped out onto the icy slopes of Jade Mountain, ready to face the daunting task that lay ahead. They still had pieces of Darkstalker's scroll from when they stole it from Chameleon a while ago.

As they made their way through the chaos, dodging spells and claw strikes, Moonwatcher's mind became flooded with a flurry of voices. Dragons of different tribes cried out for aid, urging their friends to join the fight against Darkstalker and the Nightwings. She focused on their words, seeking guidance in this desperate hour."Stay close!" Winter called out, his voice commanding and filled with a sense of urgency. "We need to find a way to get to Darkstalker."

The dragons of the Jade Winglet pushed through the throngs of dragons, using their unique abilities to shield themselves from harm. Moonwatcher's mindreading guided them to Darkstalker, helping them navigate the chaotic battlefield. As they neared Darkstalker, the air grew heavy with anticipation. Finally, they stood before the mighty Nightwing, his eyes burning with a mix of power and anger. 

"What are you doing here?" Darkstalker growled, his voice echoing through the icy winds. "We're here to stop you," Turtle declared, his voice steady and unwavering. "Your reign ends now, Darkstalker." Darkstalker chuckled darkly, his wings unfurling with a menacing grace. "You foolish little dragons. Do you truly believe you can defeat me?" Qibli stepped forward, his eyes locked onto Darkstalker's. "We may not have your power, but we have something you don't. Friendship, and we don't take control of other's minds, unlike you!

 The clash of ideals filled the air, a testament to the power of hope and unity. Moonwatcher could feel the weight of the moment as dragons from many tribes along with the Icewings, their voices rising in a united chorus against Darkstalker's evil actions. As the Jade Winglet prepared for the ultimate showdown, a spark of hope ignited within them. They might not possess Darkstalker's magic, but they had something stronger—love, courage, and the unwavering bond of friendship. Together, they would face the ancient and formidable dragon and rewrite the course of destiny...

This is only the first chapter and there's still much to come... also the reason it lacks an intro is because this fits like a puzzle piece in the timeline of Darkness of Dragons.
