Chapter 2 : The Plan

     Moonwatcher's heart raced as the Jade Winglet prepared to face Darkstalker head-on. They had come together as a team, drawing strength from their diverse backgrounds and the powerful bonds they had forged at Jade Mountain Academy.

Qibli glanced at his friends, a mixture of determination and nervousness in his eyes. "Remember, we're here to protect the Icewings and stop Darkstalker's reign. We need to work together and be smart."

Winter nodded, his gaze fixed on Darkstalker. "We can't let his magic overwhelm us. Moon, keep using your mindreading to anticipate his moves and keep him dirtracted. Kinkajou, be ready to strike when the opportunity arises."

Kinkajou, her scales shimmering with vibrant colors, grinned with excitement. "Oh, I can't wait to give Darkstalker a taste of my magical death spit!"Turtle, the quiet and nervous dragon, interjected. "We need to find a way to counter his spells. Winter, use your frost breath to freeze anywhere that isn't his scales, I'll try to distract him as best I can without using too much magic."

As the dragons readied themselves, Darkstalker's eyes narrowed, a wicked smile curling his lips. "Ah, the brave little Jade Winglet," he sneered. "But what can you hope to accomplish against me?"Qibli stepped forward, his voice steady. "We're not alone, Darkstalker. We are smarter than you think. We believe in a future where power isn't used to control others."

Darkstalker's laughter echoed through the icy battlefield. "Such naïve dreams. You will learn, just like those before you, that power is the only true path to peace and control."The dragons of the Jade Winglet spread their wings, ready to engage Darkstalker.

 Moonwatcher's mind filled with thoughts, helping see what dragons around them are planning to do in advance. She glanced at her friends, finding solace in their shared resolve. With a mighty flap of their wings, the Jade Winglet soared towards Darkstalker, each member utilizing their unique abilities. Winter unleashed his freezing breath, attempting to encase Darkstalker's face in ice. Kinkajou darted in and out, her venom finding it's mark with precision. Turtle grabbed what seemed to be a regular rock, but soon Turtle said what must have been a spell. And with the new enchanted rock, was able to throw giant boulders with his mind at Darkstalker, disorienting him. And Moonwatcher, guided their movements, anticipating most of Darkstalker's moves.

Their combined efforts kept Darkstalker on the defensive, disrupting his magic and weakening his control over the battlefield. The dragons around them fought with renewed vigor, inspired by the Jade Winglet's bravery and determination.As the battle raged on, Moonwatcher locked eyes with Darkstalker, her voice filled with conviction. "Darkstalker, your reign ends here. You may have power, but we have something far greater—a bond that cannot be broken."Darkstalker growled, his eyes blazing with fury. "I am INVINCIBLE! I will not be defeated by a mere group of dragonets!"Qibli circled around, joining Moonwatcher, his voice filled with unwavering resolve. "Darkstalker, we will not let you harm any more dragons."Darkstalker's expression twisted with rage and desperation. "You cannot defeat me! I am the most powerful dragon alive!"But the Jade Winglet stood firm, their collective will radiating from their every scale. In that moment, they embodied the very spirit of the dragons they aspired to be—fierce, compassionate, and unyielding.
