DANTE'S POV

The next day im busy looking at Diamond's profile in my office.

Surname- Valentino
Name- Diamond
Parents- Died in a accident 2 years ago
Siblings - Sapphire, 3 years old
High-school- St. Lewis
Allergies- None
Work - Tom's Diner
Boyfriends- Never had one

So, my feisty one has never had a boyfriend ? I will make sure I'm her first and last. She will never escape me. But first, I need to get her to go on a date with me. I don't know what to do or how, because I've never done this shit. See what this girl made me do ? I've never even spoke with her.

Knock knock... " Angelo you can come in" I said. But, instead it was my mom. Mom ? Do you need anything, I asked. "I've heard you got your eye on someone" she said smirking. Fucking Angelo I murmured. "Sorry he is just looking out for you Dante. You are always working and you have no time for love. Atleast you like someone now" she said with sad eyes. I got up and hug her " I know mom, but with the mafia, the business, you and sister, I've always been busy and got no time for that" I said while hugging her. She broke the hug and said " you always worry about us, but you know we can protect ourselves" she said. Yes, my mom was an assassin, but when she married my dad she left it. My sister is an assassin now and she's a cold hearted bitch just like me. " I know mom, but I have to look after you guys" I said. She sighed and said "come tell me what are you gonna do for your date". I scratch my neck and said " well, I haven't asked her yet and I don't know how". My mom actually laughed. She laughed (eye roll). "You are such an pussy" she said. "Mom!". "What ? It's true. Big bad Mafia Leader can't even asked a girl on a date" she said while laughing. I just looked at her blank. "Sorry son. Try to talk to her nicely and then you ask her. Don't be a bitch" she said and left my office. I sighed and sat back down. Well, that sounds easy I can do it.

2 Hours later

I drove to the diner alone and it's about lunch time. When I get there I saw her busy behind the counter. I got an table and wait for service. A minute later I saw her come to my table and I'm busy calming my racing heart. Fuck calm down I mentally said to my heart. "Hi, how are you today? What can I get you?" she asked with her sweet voice. "Just a black coffee..... "with no sugar" she finished my sentence. I looked at her and she said " no one has ever ordered coffee without sugar and you are the first one. I remember you from yesterday and I remember what you ordered. And thank you for the tip, but it was too much" she said. I smiled and said " no, it was a pleasure" I said. She just smiled and left the table to get my order. While she was busy making my coffee, I admire her. Her hair was in a ponytail and I can see her whole face. So beautiful. She came back with my coffee and said " here you go, call me when you need anything else". "Actually, can you tell me what's your name" I asked. I already know her name, but I need to make small talk. "Diamond and yours " she reply. " I'm Dante and it's a pleasure to meet you Diamond" I said. She smiled and left.

When I finished my coffee, I stand up and walked to the counter. She is behind the counter. Now is your time to ask her on a date Dante. "Here you go, and here is your tip" I said. "Thank you sir" she said. "Oh, no just call me Dante I said". "Okay Dante". We stand there in a awkward silence, looking at each other. I cleared my throat and finally asked the question. " Diamond look, I know we don't know each other but would you like to go on a date with me" I asked. She stared at me with wide eyes and a long silence. "Uhmm, okay here is my number" she wrote her number on a napkin and hand it to me. " thank you, I will call you and enjoy your day. " thank you, you too " she said and I left.
Okay, time to plan this date.
