Chapter-27 New family

As nagate flies upward teruru hangs on tight as the longbow skyrockets to the outer atmosphere and as they are about to enter it nagates middle engine cuts out making him say oh no. Nagate-Hiyama, izana you there my middle engine just cut out and were at the outer edge of the atmosphere. Just as nagate's fighter is about to fall back into eights atmosphere Hiyama's guard flies underneath and catches his fighter. Nagate-Phew nice catch Hiyama. Hiyama-I do what I can. Come on, let's get you back on board. After Hiyama brings nagate back onboard teruru gets out all excited and says wow this is incredible. Izana-Wait until you get to Sidonia, you'll like it there more than here. Teruru then floats over izana and after hugging her she says I can't wait then she ends up falling asleep in her arms. Nagate-Huh that was fast. Didn't think she would fall asleep that quickly must have been from that flight. Izana-Looks that way. Let's get her to bed.

Nagate-Right. Hiyama let's set a course back for Sidonia. After we get some rest, all explain everything afterword's. Hiyama says alright then as she heads to the bridge nagate follows izana as she brings her to the bunks. Once there izana puts her into her bunk then she says looks like she all tuckered out. I wonder what she's dreaming about? Nagate-Who knows...Where will you sleep now? Izana-I guess I can sleep on the bridge. Nagate-You could, or you could come sleep with me in here. Izana blushes a bit then replies won't it be a bit crowded in there. Nagate smiles then says maybe but I don't mind if it's with you izana. Izana thinks for minute then says ok you've convinced me and floats over to nagates bunk. Once in they cuddle up then fall asleep as the ship takes off but hours later, they are awakened to an alarm going off. Nagate-What's going on Hiyama? Hiyama-You guys better get up here to see this. Nagate and izana quickly float to the cockpit and after getting there they see the gauna cluster up close. Izana-It's the gauna cluster. Nagate-A lot scarier up close to it than from a distance. Hiyama-A single pacental arm is dozens of times the size of sidonia. As the ship passes by it, they watch as the gauna cluster moves its tentacles around to balance itself and hovers near one of lems planets. Teruru then floats in saying that recharge felt good I needed that. What are you guys looking at? She looks out the window to see the gauna cluster and says it's one of the original weapon deployment platforms. Nagate-What are you talking about teruru? Teruru-When the weapons became self-aware, they began absorbing our technology and one of them was a self-replicating platform. Nagate-A self-replicating what now? Teruru- It was an orbital construction yard for the imperial military but when the weapons became self-aware, they absorbed it into them and started making smaller versions of their main weapons. Nagate-Well that explains a lot. Izana-Yeah it sort of explains how the gauna create more of themselves. Nagate-Izana, Hiyama that discovery I said about earlier. Hiyama-Yes you had mentioned that. What did you find? Nagate-I discovered a way back to my universe. Hiyama-What? Izana-How? Nagate-Professor renho created something called a dimension gate that's able to send ships to another universe. Izana-Really that amazing nagate you finally have a way back. Nagate- Only one problem, the reason why they called it the dimension gate is because it's powered by dimension energy and can only be collected at a high speed and Sidonia doesn't have anything that can go that fast or a means to collect the energy.

Izana-I'm shore Sidonia can develop something to help with that. Nagate replies maybe but that's only if the captain will even consider helping then he puts on a sad look. Hiyama floats over to him and as she puts her hand on his shoulder she says don't worry nagate I will speak to the captain for you and make shore she will help. Nagate tears up then hugs hiyama while saying thank you Hiyama then she hugs him back and as they do izana and Mia join in but teruru watches. As izana looks up she sticks out her hand and says come join in teruru. Teruru-Are you shore I mean we just met and well. Izana then floats to teruru and after she hugs her, she says then I guess will have to get know you. Teruru smiles then hugs izana back as nagate watches. Hiyama-Are swing by acceleration is complete we can switch to inertial navigation. Nagate-That's good with lem star blinding the gauna cluster Sidonia should be safe for a while. Come on, let's head back to our bunks. After heading back to their bunks, the ship continues on to Sidonia and once there they dock on. As they get out, they are greeted by yuhata, tsumugi and the rest of the gang and get big hugs from them then yuhata says it good to have you back.
