It's hard to explain the sequence of events that led up to this point. Like, really hard, Like, really really hard. It all started in the beautiful dream I was having, with pretty clouds and a nice sunset just like the one the night before, with Noah by my side and nothing, absolutely nothing, that made that moment horrible, bad, or in any way unsatisfactory. And then, I woke up. To say I awoke from my amazing dream to utter and absolute chaos was a little bit of an understatement, god now i'm starting to sound like I'm straight out of a reality TV show. Anyways, I woke up to Padds hitting me repeatedly in the face, "Huh? I- wha.. What is happening?" I spoke groggily, rubbing the sleep away from my eyes. When I gained enough conscience to run to the edge of the rail on the roof I saw the problem. Three police cars were lined up on the street outside the building, all with blinking lights and police that were talking through the little shirt walkie talkies, one of them gestured to the building and they all split up busting down doors with there guns raised, by now it was obvious that they weren't after me, that, or i did some seriously illegal stuff that i never realized, i liked the first option better. Padds was awake, and in a state of alarm as he looked around frantically, wings flapping like a mortified chickens, I swiftly grabbed my bag and started walking towards him, hands gently put in front of me in an attempt to calm him. He let me come up close to him, and I was about to get on him when I heard the loud clumping of boots coming up to the room through the stairwell. "Hide!" I whispered through gritted teeth, Padds took off in the air and just turned to get out of sight when a burly police man burst through the door, breaking the lock with a gun raised, I ducked before he could see me behind a pile of old wood and bricks stored up here, He scanned the roof, gun still raised, he must've known someone was up here, because he found me pretty quickly after searching the roof. He pointed his gun point blank on me before raising his head slightly, losing his posture. He was clearly not expecting to find a kid up on the roof. He regained his composure faster than was comfortable and stalked towards me, "Put your hands in the air, stand still and wait for further instructions from me, if you don't cooperate I'll have no choice but to hurt you, and I don't want to do that." I scoffed and put my hands up, cooperate? please, who does he think i am, a drug lord, my gods, i muttered under my breath, rambling slightly. He walked even closer and reached one hand into his belt, pulling out a pair of handcuffs. Now, did i necessarily mean to hurt him, no, but i didn't know what i was going to do, he was going to cuff me, take me back to the station, then pull up my information, wonder how i was in San Francisco, then wind me up into a whole bunch more problems i would like to avoid, and probably charge me for being a drug lord, or something else along the lines of that. So, I did the one thing I knew how to do, I fought. While he was distracted grabbing the cuffs out of his belt, i dropped to the ground and swept my legs under his feet, catching him off guard and now on the floor, while he was still processing, i grabbed the collar of his shirt, pulled his front half up and reached into his belt, pulling out what i hoped to be a taser, "I am so, so sorry about this by the way" I said, cringing while I shocked him. I dropped the taser, grabbed my bag, and vaulted off the roof with one hand, landing in the alleyway with a roll. HAH! Wait did you actually believe that? Well i did most of it, but instead of landing in a smooth roll like i had wished, i had instead landed in the dumpster, limbs sprawled across the various different pieces of garbage as i heard more footsteps and yelling, When i got up and poked my head from the trash can, I saw about four police officers looking right back at me, guns pointed in perfect unison right at my head. Oh screw me.
