This one's not so much a scrapped story idea as it is characters from a story that actually made it to fruition that didn't make the cut. if you've read my series Transformers: Genesis (which was my idea for a transformers cartoon set in an all-new, original continuity. link here: https://www.wattpad.com/myworks/191653896-transformers-genesis-the-complete-series) you know how massive the cast of characters in that series is. there were many characters that I wanted to include in the series, but couldn't fit them in due to how crowded the cast already was. in hindsight we had so many characters that I didn't know what to do with half of them, so many had to have their appearances cut entirely. In no particular order, here are the scrapped characters of Transformers Genesis:

Chromia: technically already made it into the cast, but only appeared in flashbacks where she was killed by Demolishor as motivation for Ironhide's rivalry with the Decepticon bruiser. I originally planned on bringing her back in some form with an earthmode but didn't see the point since Ironhide was killed off at the beginning of season 2.

Earthmode Blurr: although his character made it into the series appearing in season 4 as Override's second-in-command on Velocitron, we originally wanted him to return in season 5 in an episode where he would have scanned an SSC ultimate aero as his Earth vehicle mode. but this episode was scrapped in favor of the episode with Cosmos. it's a shame, as I felt this particular car model would have been perfect for Blurr's character.
