After both Marinette's parent's die in a car accident she gets put into an adoption system. Little does she know she is not the only one that has experienced the loss of a parent.
When Emilie notices how lonely...
It's been 2 days since my little Ice cream mishap, but everything was fine, I just reacted badly to having that much ice cream and running around as much as I did, though even know that Adrien still wouldn't let me do anything all weekend. He said that I had to relax and stay safe, he didn't want the same thing to happen again. No matter how many times I told him that I was fine he still didn't look too convinced so we stayed in my room all Saturday and most of Sunday, watching movies and talking and playing video games. I also started making so new designs for me and Adrien that continue to keep up the twinning with my older brother look. We had a fun little mini fashion show which helped me calm down a lot. I still haven't showed my designs to Emilie yet even though I have finished them all, I am just scared as to how she would react about them.
" Something bugging you princess?" Adrien asked pulling me into a hug from behind.
" I am just a little nervous it all, I don't know if it is a good idea to show her my designs, I mean I don't want to over step. Besides what would an amazing designer like Emilie want with a silly little school girls childish designs." I say looking down at my sketch nook. Adrien's hand then came out of nowhere and snatched it from me.
" She is going to love them I'll show you," he said and ran off down the hall to find Emilie. I was right behind him, but no fast enough.
" Hi you two what's going on?" Emilie asked as she looked from a confided Adrien to me who had my arms crossed and was pouting at Adrien.
" Marientte knew how stumped you were trying to come up with some new designs she thought that she could help you out a little bit," He said winking at me, and setting the book on the table. Emilie flipped through the pages curiously, and was surprised at the amount or talent this girl showed.

" Oh my goodness these are amazing, thank you so much Marinette, and I have the perfect models for them." She said, smiling as she handed me the sketchbook.
" Really who??" Adrien asked.
" You guys," She said.
"Us!" We both exclaim, looking at each other. Sure most of these designs were meant for us, and inspired by us, but I never in a million years thought that I would be the one to model them, I no nothing about being a model, there was no way this could end well.
" But I'm not a model, I have never modeled before, and I have no idea how to model anything," I protest.
" That's Ok Princess, I have been a model my whole life, so I can give you lessons, I'm sure you are going to do great." He said with a wink.
" And I can help you to make the designs, I would not forgive myself if I created your designs, that would be like me taking credit for them." Emilie said. I had a lot to think about, this is an amazing opportunity to put myself out there, and have my designs made. I also know that this would be a fun project to work on and spend time creating. Not to mention all the time I would get to spend getting to know my new family, and learning to feel comfortable with them.
" Ok I'll do it," I say, and Emilie brings me in for a great big hug, and Adrien does the same. After I show Emilie a few more designs and I tell her about the fabric that I wanted to use, she leads us into the kitchen to bake some cookies. Adrien decorates his with black frosting and a lime green paw print, I decorate mine with red frosting and black dots, and Emilie decorates hers with white frosting and a purple and blue peacock.
" These cookies look great Mari, I didn't know you were so good at decorating them, and just baking period." Said Adrien admiring my work.
" Thanks, yours look good too, and yeah I used to bake a ton with my parents," I admit, looking down. He gives me a hug and I hug him back, and we stay like this until I hear a loud crunch from Emilie, and me and Adrien pull apart and start laughing.
" I will always be here for you sis, if you ever need to talk to me about anything Ok." He said. He tilts my chin up and makes me look at him.
" Ok, thanks bro." I say and give him a quick kiss on the cheek, then I turn back to my cookies and take a bite of one.
" You two can run along and have some fun if you'd like, I can clean this mess up myself," Said Emilie, and handing us each our tray of cookies. I give her a quick kiss on the cheek before heading out the door behind Adrien. I turn back around and look at Emilie and smile.
" Thanks mom," I say and her face lights up, I then turn around and follow Adrien back to his room. I am really starting to love being here, this new family is exactly where I belong.
A/N Sorry guys I know I haven't posted in a while, I started school today I am just trying to do my best and keep up with the story, I hope that you liked the pictures I included for the designs in Mari's sketchbook. Those are not mine so I can't take credit, though I can say that they are amazing and I love them. Bye everyone.
