After both Marinette's parent's die in a car accident she gets put into an adoption system. Little does she know she is not the only one that has experienced the loss of a parent.

After school, I ran straight back to my house to get the rest of my stuff ready. See when I was 5 my parents died in a car accident. Ever since then I have had to run the family bakery by myself, and that isn't exactly the easiest thing to do when you're a 10 year old. But unfortunately for me I couldn't do it anymore, so I finally worked up the courage to sell it, and I contacted the adoption agency that stopped by the day before. A lady named Natalie has been in contact with me ever since and the day that I have been waiting for has finally arrived I am being adopted by a pretty rich family, and I am moving into their mansion today. I was really happy to have made some new friends today, maybe staring over with a new family and new friends at a new school isn't going to be so bad after all. I scooped up my beautiful white cat Tikki and set her in her cat carrier.
" Are you ready to see your new home Tikki?" I ask her, and she gives a slight meow as a response. " I'll take that as a yes, let's go," I say and I turn around to get one last look at my old room, I remember all of the wonderful times I have had here. I am really going to miss this place.My phone then took that opportunity to ring and interrupt my memories.
" Are you ready to go and meet your new family?" Natalie said over the phone.
" Ready as I'll ever be," I say and hang up. I look at my the outfit I was wearing, it was the first outfit I have ever created, I just really wanted to make a good impression. I was wearing an elegant pink dress.

I made my way down to the car that Natalie sent for me and a large man that kinda reminded me of a Gorilla grabbed my bags and loaded them up the car and off we were. I was really nervous to meet my new family, Natalie said that the woman that is adopting me has a son that is 2 years older than me, he lost his dad over the summer and has been pretty lonely ever since. As we started to pull into the gates of an extremely large property my hands started to shake. Here we go.
I start to unload my bags into the house, and take a second to look around. This place was absolutely gorgeous, and huge.
