After both Marinette's parent's die in a car accident she gets put into an adoption system. Little does she know she is not the only one that has experienced the loss of a parent.
When Emilie notices how lonely...
In order to welcome her to the house and into her new room, we started a fun video gaming tourniment. We played al typed of games like Mario Kart, Mega Strike III, Super Smash Bros, Donkey Kong Country, and Just dance. Marinette was amazing at all of those, she beat me every time. I finally gave in around 10'o'clock, because we still had school the next day.
" Goodnight Adrien," She said getting up and walking to the door.
" Night Mari," I say.
" Oh and Adrien," She says right as she was about to walk out of the room.
" Yeah," I say looking up at her face to see a slight blush creeping up onto her face which made me smile.
" I just wanted to say thanks for everything, you and your mom have been so extremely kind and helpful all through this whole move thing and I really appreciate it, I am really I am a pretty lucky girl to have a new big brother like you," She said, and then turned down the hall to go to her room. I started to feel my own cheeks heat up at that, and I realized, Marinette is now my little sister, and as her big brother I swear that I am going to protect her with my entire life.
" What do you think of Marinette Plagg?" I ask my little black kitty. But when I didn't get any sort of noice or anything as a reply, I begin to search my room. Come to think of it I haven't seen Plagg since this morning, when I left for school. I got up out of bed and put on some socks, and a sweatshirt, then I made my way down the hall.
" Plagg, Plagg, where are you boy?" I whisper. He wasn't in the living room, or the kitchen, or the dining room, so I made my way back up the hallway towards mine and Marinette's bedrooms, and continued to call for my cat.
" Plagg," I whisper. I still couldn't find him, I was about to go back into my room and call it a night when I heard a soft sniffling sound. I turned around to find the door to Marinette's bedroom cracked a little bit, the sound was coming from her room. Wanting to be respectful, I knock on the door lightly, and do my best not to startle her.
" Marinette, are you Ok in there?" I whisper ask, but the only responce that I got was her continuing to sniffle, and whimper. She was moving around quite alot, I wanted to go in but I also didn't want to enter her room without permission, but when Mari started moving more and more violently, and her cries got louder my brain shut down and my protectiveness took over.
" Mari, Mari, it's Ok it's just me Adrien," I say slightly shaking her.
" No please...mom I'm sorry please don't go...papa no," She was muttering between sobs, which reminded me that I don't know anything about her past, I forgot to ask. Well something serious obviously had to have happened for her to have gotten adopted.
" Marinette, it's ok wake up," I say a little louder, and shaking her a bit more.
" No...come back you don't have to...I didn't mean to please."She said, and by then she shot up and we bumped heads, and she flew back down onto her pillows.
" Mari are you Ok?" I ask, and I take this opportunity to get a good look at her face, her eyes are puffy and red and her cheeks were stained with tears.
" What are you doing here?" she asks covering herself, and that's when I realized that she was only wearing a bra.
" I'm sorry I was looking for my cat and then I heard you crying and I just wanted to make sure that you were Okay, and If you are alright then I will be on my way then sorry for disturbing you," I say looking away my cheeks starting to heat up at the embarrassment of this whole situation. " Goodnight," I say and turn to walk out the door when she grabs y hand and stops me.
" No wait please don't go, I'm a little lonely could you please sleep here just for tonight," She asks, with pleading eyes.
" Ok but first how about you maybe go to the bathroom and clean yourself up a little bit, Ok" I suggest. She nods and gets up from the bed and heads into the bathroom.
" Make yourself comfortable Ok,"she says pointing to the bed, and I walk over and lay down. Once I have made myself comfy I look up to see Mari coming back, she cleaned up her face and changed into some less revealing Pj's.

" Feeling better," I ask her as she snuggles up under the covers.
" Yeah thanks." She says.
" Goodnight," I say still looking into her beautiful bluebell eyes.
" Goodnight," she says with a sigh, and she closes her eyes. After about what feels like 10 more minutes I finally notice to balls of fur at the edge of the bed, one I recognized as my black cat Plagg, and the other was a small white cat, which I am guessing was Tikki, Mari's cat. The two were snuggled close together and it looked like the were very comfy. I took one last look at Marinette to see her sleeping peacfully beside me and then went to sleep.
