"I'll show you to your room!" Mickey said skipping down the hall. As an anteater.
"Umm. What just happened? Why are you an anteater?" Kyla asked.
"You don't know? Our family has a curse. Each one of us represents a certian animal and whenever a mortal touches one of us or whenever a god or goddess of the opposite gender hugs us, then we turn into the animal that we represent. For instance I represent the anteater so when you hugged me then I turned into my animal form." Mickey explained.
"But aren't we all mortals? I mean I get the concept of a mortal touching you but it just makes me wonder because all four of us are the opposite gender and we had hugged you. So....." Lizzy pointed out.
"All of us except Charlotte and Brianna are immortal. Don't let the word 'immortal' fool you. We can still die but only if another god or goddess stronger than you kills you, or of old age but that's like when you're a billion years old. I am surprised that you four aren't dead yet. Considering the 12 gods rule. Cerise that's how your dad died you know. Same with Zeus." He looked back at me. "Sorry if I struck a nerve it's just when my parents no one told me how they died or anything. I just-"

"It's fine Mickey. I knew how my dad died since, well his death. But no one had to tell me. I know what you were trying to do." I said lifting his spirits. Suddenly sirens roared and panic came across most in the city.
"Griefs! They're coming! 5 of them!" A scout had said. I had pulled duel Beretta pistols from a pocket in my hodded cloak. I wasn't the only one getting out their weapons, Kyla got out her sword, Izy got out her shotgun, and Lizzy got out her bow and arrows. And Mickey pulled a blue bubble gun.

A creature was 8 ft tall with a bird beak and one tooth. It had a human like shape but instead of arms it had what looked like crow wings and tail feathers. It's human like legs were thin and on where the anckles were there were talons. You could see it's ribs and it looked starving. The human feet were also streached and the toenails were balck and slightly curved. Feathers grew out from it's head as well.

The four of us all sprung into action. I had glared at Mickey and his response made me cry on the inside.
"What? Its the most powerful weapon we have." He said. Mickey and I took two on the right, Kyla and Izy got the middle two and Lizzy took on the last one on the left. It was chaos for about 10 minutes and it was over. All the creatures. Gone. The feathers grew covering the body even shrinking the body into a small black orb. The black retreated to the top revealing a white as pure as an angel's wings. Then suddenly the orb separated into microscopic pieces and disappeared as if it had evaporated into the air.
"What the heck was that thing?!?" Lizzy asked. Leona walked over in all her grace ready to deliver an explanation.
"We call them Griefs. A crow and a human mixed together. They feed on souls, specifically lost souls trapped in their despair. You were told about Austin. The god that broke away from us. He controls the Griefs, by their will to feed, to attack us to weaken us. For his final attack. We are fighting a constant war against the god of sarcasm. And war."
"So let me get this straight. You're trying to fight a war against monsters and a god without any weapons?" I asked.
"We symbolize peace and harmony. It's not our intention or way to fight back." Leona said.
"I want to sleep in a comfy bed. We all do." Kyla said speaking for all of us.
"This way." She said. The room was white much like everything else. There was five king size beds that clouds. Charlotte occupied one. First chance we got we had slept the night away.

I was in my old room from when I was a little girl. There was a fireplace and the room was cold. The fire was dimming and needed fuel. I put a few logs in the fire, and once I did so a man made of fire came up to me. His face was kind and familiar in a way I couldn't comprehend.
"Hello there my little one. I wished to see you and I'm breaking the rules right now. Don't let your Uncle Zeus know. Before I go I want to give you this." He said handing me my chocker necklace. "I will always be by your side." I heard a door creak open. "I must go. I love you very much." Just then a black sword came through the man's torso. I remembered this happening before. Faintly.
