Aarohi's pov:
My head was spinning just thinking about the fact that I had slept with my boss. Great way to start the first day. You know what? My life is literally out of order!
I stood up from the bed and grabbed my clothes saying "thank you reyansh for yesterday...i should umm leave""listen -"
"I know I was great in bed, you do not need to thank me. Anyways..bye" saying that I ran towards the door.
I tried opening it..but it wouldn't budge. "Ugh! This fucking door!!!"
"That's the bathroom..." He said. COULD THIS BE ANYMORE EMBARRASSING THAN IT ALREADY IS?!
"Yeah um..I know..I was just checking..and by the way nice door!" I said eyeing the door. He swiftly walked towards me and unlocked it with a flick of his finger.
"Sometimes, miss unknown, you have to be patient to open locked doors. The more you try to enforce it open, the more it will lead to complications." All this while he was staring right at me and for the first time, I looked at him keenly. He had dark grey eyes, a slight stubble on his gorgeous jaw and jet black hair. The blue shirt made him look a thousand times sexier. Man was a full course meal dessert included.
"I am sorry to interrupt your staring session but I have a case to look into, much to my own dismay, I will have to leave. Also nothing happened yesterday, you were pretty drunk so i brought you home considering it would be unsafe to leave a woman all alone in the middle of nowhere. I apologise if you thought any other way," he completed.
"Uh no. Thanks anyways reyansh. Means a lot! I will get going! But before that, did you by any chance remove my clothes?" I asked.
"Well, you removed them yourself after complaining about how hot Mumbai's weather is. Hence this. By the way, you never told me your name."
"Oh well, hey, i am aarohi arora, senior detective at the CID branch Mumbai."
He was about to say something but was interrupted by a phone call. After an acute conversation he spoke "i am sorry, i really gotta go it's urgent..and see you in office maybe?" I nodded and walked towards the door with him.
Reaching home by an auto, i quickly showered, changing into a pair of shirt and jeans and tying my hair into a ponytail i sat in my car and drove towards the CID office. Walking inside I greeted everyone and proceeded towards my cabin. On the way I saw reyansh talking to an officer. Noticing my presence he acknowledged me with a smile and walked towards his own cabin. Well this is going to be very interesting....
After working on a few files, I got up and went towards his cabin. I knocked gently and head a faint come in. I walked in and almost lost my Balance at the sight in front of me. He had glasses on, his sleeves were rolled up and he was vigorously typing something on a laptop.
"Miss aarohi any update on the room no 506 killing that happened yesterday?"
I regained my composure and replied "yes sir, I looked into the evidence and it seems as if the murder was portrayed as suicide. We found the body tied to the ceiling fan, I analysed the forensic reports which state that the victim was injected with a high amount of sodium which led to their death and thereafter it was presented as suicide. The victim was 5 months pregnant. We managed to remove the dead foetus and have given it for the dna testing. We have also managed to get ahold of the injection which was present in the dustbin of the society. We are currently working towards questioning the society memebers and analysing the cctv footage."
"Impressive miss arora." He gave me a full blown smile and it was then I noticed that he had a dimple on his right cheek. CUTIE!
"T-thank you sir!" I said. Another knock was heard from the outside and then came in Arjun. A prominent officer in the department.
"Good morning sir, it seems like we have the culprits of the room 506 case."
"Very well." He said and stood up.
"Let's get those bastards shall we?" Reyansh asked and both of us nodded.
With that, the three of us walked towards the exit to arrest our killers. It was going to be one hell of a ride.
