His pov
I control my anger. It's as if that's my last resort. This person is testing my patience by sending such texts to my woman. If only i could kill him with my bare hands.
"Sir we managed to track all the numbers but each one shows a different location."
Arjun informs.
I scratch my eyebrows in thought.
"Any information about relatives, parents of the victims?"
"Sir, we have the missing complaint of all the girls. Nothing more than that could be tracked."
Arjun replies
"Fuck, okay, let's resort to plan B then."
"Plan B?" Arjun asks, clearly confused.
I then explain to the officers about the plan Aarohi and I had formulated. Everyone listened to it with utmost attention and nodded in response. Amidst all instructions, aarohi's phone made a ting sound.
"What does it say now?" I ask
She shows me her phone and i almost control the urge to punch the wall beside me.
*Oh the things i would do to you my lovely officer. See you in a while*
"Okay Rey, listen, you need to get me equipped. I will Hide a mic inside my undergarment. That way you will be able to hear all our conversations." She says
I nods and continue:
"Arjun make sure she is fitted with a GPS chip. The safest place would be the inside of her shoe and in her hairclip. We make sure we have two just in case anything goes wrong. Aarohi, we will be following you all the time. So do not worry about anything."
Aarohi nods in response but she looks a bit unsure.
I drag her inside my cabin. I gently take her hands in mine.
"Hey, what's wrong?"
"I don't know. What if one mistake of mine costs us 15 other lives?"
"Hey!"
I cup her face and look into her eyes.
"You're a fighter aarohi. Remember why you chose to be here. You wanted to help people. You wanted to put evil behind the bars, this is your chance."
A tear slips out of her brown orbs. I wipe it away and kiss her forehead. We stay in that position for quite some time. Just embracing each other's warmth. We both needed it. Sometimes, the saviour needs a saviour too right?
A knock interrupts our moment. Vaishali, a technician comes in ready with the equipments that aarohi needed to be fitted with. I make aarohi sit on my chair and hold her hand to assure her.
I just hope everything turns in accordance to our plan. This bastard needs to be behind the bars. At any cost.
