His pov:
Around 7:25 i found myself standing in the same elevator as aarohi. It was super awkward since Samira had created such a huge scene in the office.
"Hey aarohi. Wanna go for a coffee?" Way to go rey. Very good. Embarass yourself. Why don't you go jump off a building?
"No sir, I wish to keep this relationship as professional as possible. Currently we are in our work environment hence i wouldn't like being informal with you. Thank you for the offer anyways."
With that she stepped out of the elevator and walked towards her vehicle without sparing a second glance at me. Woah. She was in a mood. Certainly. Wait. Why though? Was she perhaps jealous? Hold up Does that mean she likes me too?
I ended up blushing at the thought.
"Oh, mere paltu suar, ye kis baat pe itna muskura Raha hai tu?" Ravi said.
(Oh my pet pig, why are you smiling so much?)
"N-nothing"
"There is definitely something. And I told you to meet me at the tea stall at 7. The time right now is 7:30. When will this habit of "arriving fashionably late" pass out from your system?
"I am sorry. I just got caught up with this case of a mother who killed her own son just because he denied appearing for some exam" i continued the story until we reached our favourite tea stall.
Ravi got us the special kathiyawadi chai and we sat in silence thereafter.
"Ab batayega bhi ki hua kya hai, ya mujhe sirf apni fuddu shakal dekhne ke liye bulaya hai yaha tune?"
(Now will you finally tell me what has happened or am I here to watch your stupid face?)
"I broke up with Samira"
Ravi choked on his tea. After successfully embarrassing himself he hugged me and kissed my cheek.
"Congratulations meri jaan..Azaadi Mubarak ho. This is great news!"
(Congratulations on your freedom)
"But I now work in the same office as aarohi."
This time Ravi almost skipped a step and landed on my lap.
"ARE YOU FOR REAL?! AAROHI ARORA? THE AAROHI ARORA? TERA PEHLA PEHLA PYAR WALI AAROHI ARORA?"
(YOUR FIRST LOVE AAROHI ARORA?)
"Ha bhai ha!"
Hearing that Ravi kissed my cheek and i could see 2-3 uncles fainting in the background. I realised the position we were in and pushed him away.
"Aww baby, why would you do that to me? Huh? Come here let me give you a kiss" Ravi puckered his lips
"BRO TF, I AM STRAIGHT!" I replied and started running away from him towards my car. Unfortunately, he followed. Reaching the car, both of us laughed out loud. After a while, Ravi spoke,
"Seriously though, i am so happy for you meri jaan. Aarohi is a gem. Don't lose her now."
"I won't. Thank you for always being there for me!"
We hugged and thereafter parted always. Today was a good day.
