It was Jimmy...

As Scott started to be able to see he saw Jimmy giving him a weak smile as he heard a nurse approach them. He saw Jimmy's mouth moving to talk to her but he couldn't understand a single thing going on. He then felt pain in his right hand. He tried to move it but Jimmy held him down using one hand while the other pushed some of Scott's hair out of his face. He looked at where the pain was coming from in his hand and he saw a nurse putting something through an IV they had. It was a clear liquid so Scott just guessed it was water.

"Can you taste it?" Jimmy asked him smirking. It took Scott a minute for him to realize Jimmy spoke but when he did he just looked at him confused. Well until he did start to taste something. Kinda like rubber gloves. Scott just stuck his tongue out which made Jimmy and the nurse laugh.

(Just wanted to say I've had this happen to me so I just had to put it in, it was too funny not too)

Scott heard the nurse talk in whatever language fish hybrids talk in. Jimmy just nodded and the nurse left the room. Scott looked at him confused.

"She's going to get some stuff to take your IV's out" Jimmy said as he rubbed his thumb on Scott's face. They stayed in silence until the nurse came back and started to take the IVs out and put a cotton ball held by tape on his left arm and both hands. After that she left the two Emperors alone. "Lizzie will come in here soon to question you about the capture" Jimmy said slightly looking away.

"Tht's fine" Scott slurred out. His head still spinning since he was still incredibly weak.

"I think she's with Gem so I guess you're lucky" He laughed.

"She's awake" Scott said shocked. Jimmy nodded.

"She woke up about an hour before you did" Jimmy looked at the door as he heard footsteps pass the door. Jimmy then sighed, "I have to go and help around the Empire your communicator is right next to you on the table, text me if something happens, okay?" Jimmy leaned in and kissed the top of Scott's nose. He nodded as Jimmy went out of the room. Scott looked up at the ceiling for what felt like forever before hearing the door open once more.

"Scott?"

Sorry for the talk about IVs and stuff but I wanted this to be more of a 'fluff' chapter before I 180° you guys and smack you in the face with angst! Foreshadowing
