Days before, Sal had asked Travis to come over for dinner, for both support and a friend because Larry wouldn't stop complaining about him.  It was silly bickering about how the blond was supposedly annoying.

It was Friday now and sun was halfway below the horizon as Travis trekked to The Addison Apartments. It wasn't a very far walk as he used to walk home after school. Nowadays Kenneth had been picking him up before he and Sal could hang out in the afternoons.

It was strange, as if Kenneth had knew.

Speaking of Kenneth, he lied about going to Sals. His excuse for tonight was the library and that he didn't know when he'd be back. Kenneth had nodded in response with a grumble which meant get out or get hit.

Although his father picking him up never stopped him from seeing Sal in the hallways, in math, at lunch and sometimes pulled him into the janitors closet to speak with him before lunch, being careful not to make the risk of a kiss.

The blond knocked on the door and a brunette had been the one to open it. She had the same facial structure as Larry and Travis had knew it was his mom.

"Good evening!" She greeted excitedly and countinued, "You're Sals friend?"

He nods, "Yes ma'am"

The woman stepped beside the door so that Travis could come in the apartment. The walls had a yellow wallpaper that was peeling, a brown couch and box tv. He could see the kitchen which had typical black and white tiling and a simple wooden dinner table.

He heard Sals voice smiled widely, "Trav, glad you could make it!" He had felt a warmth surround as the blue haired one hugged him. He wished to stay in that position forever but knew the detachment had to be done

"Of course, I said I would, Sallyface" Travis says. Larry raises an eyebrow as he takes at a seat the table; It was unusual for him to see the blond smile but it also made him happy to know his stepbrothers safety with the enemy.

"Hey, Travis" there was a firm voice that spoke. He turned to another Blue haired man, his hair was shorter and his eyes were bead-like.

"Hello, sir." Travis swallowed, remembering what Sal had told him about his father, Henry Fisher.

"Nice to meet you, call me Henry. It's nice to have our boys hanging out with a church go-er." Henry means to joke around and even chortles after he said it. Travis awkwardly laughs along and so does Sal and Lisa.

"Thank you, sir-" he corrects himself,  "uh, Henry."

The brunette introduces herself, "And I'm Lisa." Travis likes the woman's voice and how it sounds so soothing to him.
