Jeonghan couldn't stop staring at Seungcheol. He has changed so much. His hair long enough that his natural curls were evident. No spark of liveliness in his eyes. Pale lips. Dark circles and tired eyes. And he had gotten buff. So buff and muscular. What hasn't changed was his dressing sense. A generic t-shirt with jeans, sleeves folded till elbows showcasing his perfectly sculpted arms and hands. Atleast the jeans weren't skinny. Thank god he realises he's not a teenager anymore. Jeonghan didn't want to be judgy but he found Seungcheol's outfit inappropriate for such a high-end restaurant.

"So what should I order?? Beef Wellington for me...." Seungcheol asked.

They had taken their seats with Seungkwan and Seungcheol sitting side by side on the couch, Seungkwan still wrapped around Seungcheol and Vernon and Jeonghan in front of them on chairs.

"Teppanyaki noodles for Jeonghan hyung, Aglio e olio pasta for me and Soba noodles for Kwannie. Anything else anyone?" Vernon replied.

Waiter took their order and left.

Jeonghan saw Seungcheol stiffening "Oh wow.... You even know what Jeonghan orders but not what I order. Well .... I'm surprised to say the least." Seungcheol said snapping the menu card shut.

"Awwe hyung, don't be mad, we don't go out together a lot... How would I know what do you like??"

"As if you go out with Jeonghan a lot....So how many times have you gone out with him?" Seungcheol said in a challenging tone.

"Every month." Jeonghan replied. "Plus there's a cooking night once a month too. At my place." Jeonghan took a sip of his water.

"Hannie hyung stop it" Seungkwan hissed.

"What?? I'm just telling the truth." Jeonghan shrugged.

Jeonghan noticed how Seungcheol gulped. He almost felt bad for making Seungcheol feel like he doesn't spend enough time with the kids. Almost.

"Ohh and for anything else, I'll have a side dish of truth please. There's a deficiency of it right now." Jeonghan smiled sweetly.

"The thing is I'm his-" Vernon started talking but was cut by Seungcheol

"Vernon, let me explain." Seungcheol gulped and started speaking.

".... So you remember how my mom was always travelling to New York for work and her stays went on for several months sometimes? Turns out she was having an affair with our Hansol's father and when she came back noone noticed she was pregnant. I mean whom are we kidding, my father is a workaholic, he never really gave attention to mom. And I was what? 8 years old? 9? I might've just thought she had put on some weight." Seungcheol laughed wryly at that without it reaching his eyes. "She went back to New York after a few months, gave birth but left Hansol with his father. It was like she was living a double life. Five years ago Hansol's father was moving to Brussels. He's an artist. He makes artpieces and showcases them in exhibitions all over the world. He got a job prospect from a famous museum in Brussels of a museum curator. He took it. Mom and him were already broken up at that point so they decided to bring Hansol here. So here I am with a half brother but I have his full love and responsibility." He chuckled but this time his eyes twinkled.

Jeonghan was taken aback but honestly he wasn't that surprised. Seungcheol's mom has always been a little detached with him. But she was a good mom. He remembered Seungcheol telling him that his parents were horrible to and for each other but they were good parents and were always there for him whenever he needed them.

"Ohhh. Well I'm just.... Just stunned." Jeonghan laughed a little. "So where's she right now?? And does your father know about Hansol now?"

"She's in New York right now. Her job is still the same. And Cheol hyung's father has been such a sweetheart to me. I mean I never felt different here. He takes care of me a lot." Vernon chimed in.
