"Woah you guys do realise we're sitting here right. We're 22. We can handle ourselves on our own. If we're old to enough to vote, we're old enough to handle ourselves." Vernon whined.

"Yeah right. You asked me who should you vote for and voted for them. In America." Seungcheol scoffed.

Jeonghan spit the water he was sipping and started coughing.

"Seriously babe???" Seungkwan cackled.

"Hyung seriously??? Stop embarassing me." Vernon ordered.

"Well I just wanted to say you're not that of a grown up." Seungcheol teased.

"Can't disagree with that." Jeonghan gave his two cents.

"Stop bullying us you hyungs" Seungkwan said.

"Anyway what is it with Boo Seungkwan?? Why did you change your surname?? Were you like married to someone, took their surname, separated but didn't change it again? Lol" Seungcheol laughed.

"Kwannie? You didn't tell them about your marriage??" Jeonghan asked with widened eyes.

"Hyung what-" Seungkwan started saying.

"I'm sorry marriage what??" Seungcheol balked.

"Babe??" Vernon asked.

Jeonghan burst into laughter while the other three just sat their wondering how could he fool them like that.

"You..." Breathe ".... Should've..." Breathe ".....seen..." Breathe "... Your faces" Jeonghan couldn't breathe he was laughing so hard.

Seungcheol just sat there wondering why did Jeonghan's laugh gave him so much peace.

"Hyung that was not funny." Vernon deadpanned.

"Yeah. Right. Sorry" Jeonghan said when he was able to control his laughter.

"I took our mother's surname after I completed high school." Seungkwan explained.

"Ohh. That's adorable." Vernon said while giving googly eyes to Seungkwan.

"That's admirable Kwannie. Hansol also has our mother's surname. His father did gave him an English middle name though." Seungcheol said.

"We know. Chwe Vernon Hansol." Jeonghan said.

"Ohh okay." Seungcheol said.

Seungcheol wasn't dumb. He knew what Jeonghan was trying to do. He was a stuck up bitch like that. He thought he was better than everyone. It's a wonder he loved Vernon so much. Well in his defence who doesn't love Vernon? He's the purest soul to ever exist.
What Seungcheol didn't know was why Jeonghan was still doing this. He promised he would give the kids more attention. Then why wasn't Jeonghan backing up??

I get it. I haven't been the most present brother ever. Hell Jeonghan had set standards pretty high with his cooking night and dinner outside once a month and his petty little advices for petty little classmates and all 'i couldn't let it convert to a trauma'. But I'm not a bad brother and I would not let Jeonghan to continue to believe that. I need a plan.

"Chwe sounds pretty similar to Choi though." Jeonghan mentioned.

"I know right. Sometimes people just think they heard wrong. Makes everything easier. Don't get me wrong, I'm not embarassed that he's my half brother or something but explaining our family history everytime is such a hassle and then people judge mom. We hate that."

"I'm pretty sure I'd do the same" Jeonghan said.

"And we thought you both won't like each other." Seungkwan said holding Vernon's hand.
