Years had passed, and you had moved in with your father and sister. You and Mioko had grown older while your father had grown into a habit of drinking and doing drugs. He wasn't abusive, but he was just drunk or high most of the time which made it hard to believe him whenever he said "i love you". At least you and your sister had a good relationship with each other.

You guys never actually argued, just bickered. But it always ended with you two on the ground laughing. You were doing pretty well despite all your trauma. It's not like it didn't take a toll on your mental health, oh it did. It got so bad one time that your father thought it was best to send you to a mental hospital for 3 days. It wasn't the worst experience you've been through obviously, but it wasn't ideal.

You were 14, and your sister was 11, since your father was gone either at bars or his shitty construction job most of the time, you were the one taking care of your sister. There was multiple times where you would walk her to school and make her lunch, while you would get to school late. You didn't mind though, it made you happy that you could help. Other than your brother and mother, there was one thing you really missed more than anything.

You used to have such a good relationship with your father, but ever since the your mom left, you two fought and had screaming matches way too often. Mioko often overheard and went to check on you after. You really appreciated her, even though she was young, she knew exactly what to do to make you feel better.

It was your last year at Aldera Junior High and your teacher was announcing something about your futures, but you didn't really pay attention to that. You sat behind Bakugou and next to Midoriya. You and Midoriya knew who eachother was in elementary, but got closer in middle school. Regardless of him not having a quirk, he was a really nice boy. You two often had lunch and studied for tests together. You didn't know about Bakugou bullying Midoriya until later on into the school year, usually Bakugou went to pick on him as soon as everyone was out of sight from them.

Bakugou didn't know what your quirk was, but he knew you. Not because you were Midoriya's friend, but because he remembered you from when you guys were younger. It was a couple of short distinct memories, but it still stayed in the back of his mind along with him getting his quirk, and some other important memories. You suddenly snapped out of your thoughts to Bakugou standing on his desk.

"I'll end up more popular then All Might himself, and be the richest hero of all time!" Bakugou started bragging about himself, "People all across the world will know who I am, and it all starts with UA High!"

'Jesus, could this guy be any louder' you thought to yourself as you put your head down while your teacher was speaking.

"Oh yeah, L/N and Midoriya. Don't you guys wanna go to UA too?" The teacher asked as you ignored it and Midoriya slowly looked up, noticing all his classmates were looking at him giving different kinds of glares.

In a matter of seconds, laughter had erupted from all over the class as some students started blurting out insults. The class had been dismissed shortly after the whole 'future' speech. Mostly everyone had cleared out of the classroom but just as you stepped out of the classroom doors heading out into the hallway, you heard Bakugou yelling at someone. You then heard another voice. It was Midoriya.

You walked towards the empty classroom and saw Bakugou standing over Midoriya.

"Y'know if you really wanna be a hero that badly, there actually might be another way." Bakugou started his rant, slowly making his way to the door not noticing you.

As he turned to face Midoriya, you walked and stood right infront of him, yet not catching his attention.

"Just pray that you'll be born with a quirk in your next life, then take a swan dive off the roof of the building."
