Some kids in this universe get their quirks through genetics. Some don't get quirks at all. That just proves how unfair this world really is. But what if there was another world? One where everyone is equal to each other. One where people don't have to keep secrets in order to live. One where people can just be themselves without others caring. But I guess we'll never know what that's like. Not until it's proven there's another world out there. It was your brother's 4th birthday. You were 4 too, in fact- you guys were twins. But your parents decided to celebrate your birthdays on different days to prevent chaos. Anyways, despite being so young, you still remember it like it was just yesterday. Early in the morning your brother had woken you up feeling ecstatic about the day being his party. His bright smile was the first thing you saw that morning, it made you feel just as happy as he was. His joy was always real, he never faked it to seem happy. He was happy. And as long as he was, you were too.
You woke to the sound of your brother's voice shouting incoherent words in your ear. But as you fully woke up, those words became fully formed sentences.
"Y/N, wake up! Come on we can't be late to pick up my birthday cake!" Your brother said, jumping up and down at your side shaking you rather violently for someone whos excited.
"Koji, I want more sleep" You complained trying to pry his hands off of you.
"But Y/NNN, its my birthday party! We cant be late for my party!" Koji whined as he continued to shake you despite your efforts of sleep.
"Okay, okay! I'm up." You muttered as you stood up tiredly you followed Koji, who had already been racing down the hall, full of energy.
Probably to go wake up your parents. Once your family had woken up and got ready for the day, your mother had grabbed a list off of the fridge.
The first thing to do was to go get Koji's cake and put it in the fridge. That was easy. You guys had gone to the store and picked up the red, blue and yellow All Might cake. It was vanilla flavored, Koji's favorite. You didn't really prefer vanilla, but of course you would still eat it. It would've made him happy. The second thing to do was to get home and set up his party decorations. You wanted to help, but you couldn't reach the hook to hang the birthday banner. Your father saw you struggling, he smiled and came over and lifted you up so you could reach the hook and hang the banner.
You felt proud of yourself, now that you had helped with something. The third thing was to start the party. Your mother had rented a bounce house and allowed Koji to invite some friends. About 6 of his friends had came hands full of birthday presents, Koji was overjoyed at the sight of so many presents almost not being able to contain himself from ripping the wrapping paper off of each present and see what's inside.
Everyone was having fun playing in the bounce house, going down the inflatable slide. When a family of 3 had walked up to your parents, a father, a mother, and a young child. They were all talking to each other, but you couldn't tell what they were saying due to all the kids screaming in the bounce house. But there was one thing in particular that caught your eye about the family. There was an ash blonde haired boy standing next to what you were sure was the father. He looked about your age, but then again you didn't know if it was one of Koji's friends or not.
You slid down the slide getting away from your brother and his loud friends. Making your way over to your parents, the boy had looked directly at you. You froze as you just looked at him. The two of you just looked at each other for a good minute. Well, the boy was giving you more of a glare than a harmless look. Your father had noticed the boy glaring at something behind your mother and turned around to see you frozen staring back at the child.
