A couple of other matches had gone by that you watched from recovery girl's office. You felt bad for Kaminari and you wanted to make sure he was okay before your next match up against who the hell knows. As of right now, Kaminari was sleeping perfectly fine. You still sat by him though in the chair infront of the bed. You watched as Hatsume made her and Iida's match into basically an advertisement. Her inventions are sick as fuck you had to admit. Hopefully she can work with your hero costume in the future.

You continued to watch Ashido and Aoyama's match as you got up and took the time you had to stretch and warm up. Aoyama was shooting laser beams at Ashido but she dodged all of them with such agility. Once she got an opening, she threw some acid at his belt and accidentally melted his pants. You laughed so hard as he tried to keep his pants up. Soon enough Ashido uppercutted him and left him unconscious.

"What are you laughing at?" A groggy voice asked from behind you.

You turned to face Kaminari, "Youre awake, how are you feeling?" you asked him walking towards him.

He shrugs, "pretty normal if you ask me," he glances at the tv, "what matches have gone by?"

You look at the tv then back at him, "Just 2, Iida and Hatsume, and then Ashido and Aoyama. You can guess who won." You explain as he nods.

"Im hungry, is there any snacks?" Kaminari asks as he abruptly gets up.

You shrug, "Somewhere around here,"

Kaminari thanks recovery girl and you two walk around the halls for a little in a comfortable silence.

"So much for asking you out on a date, huh?" He says, breaking the silence.

You let out a breathy chuckle, "Yeah, didn't go your way did it?" you ask as you look up at him crossing your arms.

He shook his head, "Nope, not at all," he smiles softly, "I meant what I said by the way, before our match." Kaminari starts as you look up at him. "You have some insane power, and you know how to control it well, unlike me." He admits as he rubs the back of his neck.

"Thanks, but if anything your quirk has so much potential, you just need to learn how to channel it correctly." You say stopping infront of a vending machine.

"I know, but who knows how long that's gonna take." Kaminari says looking to the side as you select what you want.

"As long as you're determined and try hard, you'll get it in no time." You assure him with a small smile as he looked at you.

"Thanks," he says, you nod

"Anytime. Now, what do you want. So I can 'comfort you from your loss'." You say teasing him with his own words.

He rolls his eyes as he gets some gummies. You got some sort of sour candy.

"How are you liking UA so far? You know aside from the villains attacking us and Aizawa threatening to expel us every other test." Kaminari asks with his mouth full of candy.

You laugh a little, "Fine, definitely not what I expected thats for sure,"

He nods in agreement. "So...have your eye on anyone in particular yet?" He tries to change the topic, you nearly choke on your candy.

"That was random." You say wiping your mouth giving him an unsure glare.

"What?? A guy can be curious." He throws his hands up in defense.

You hum sarcastically, "I dont know," you answer his question.

He looks at you signalling to continue. You stammer, "It's complicated- my last relationship was a wreck and I dont know if I trust myself to pick the 'right' person again."
