(TW:
Bakugou's POV:
'she dodged everything else but that? weak..' I said in my head as I heard Present Mic declare my win while still holding her in place on the ground. I let go of her leg and stand up and see stars. I mustve stood up to fast because I was fine in the next couple seconds.
I take a few steps back as the medic robots take her probably to recovery girl. She took a hard blow to the face, the look on her face before she fainted was weird. It was like she saw a ghost.
I try to shrug it off but I keep thinking about her. Begrudgingly against my mind's will, I go check up on her and shes still out cold. Recovery girl isnt in the room and Y/n has bandages on her neck, thigh and hip. Her uniform is still all charred and burnt on the left side.
I squint my eyes as I scoff more at myself then her weakness and walk away with my arms crossed.
Your POV:
Your eyes flutter open but then get blinded by the bright light above you. Squinting you sit up and look around. You feel tightness around your stomach preventing you from sitting up all the way. Looking down you see bandanges on your waist and thigh. You feel one on your neck aswell.
You notice a new uniform laying on the bed next to you, you take it and stand up, walking over to the bathroom. You look in the mirror and unwrap the bandange on your neck. The scar Isamu left and that Todoroki renewed seemed a lot more noticeable now. You graze your fingers against the rough texture and winced.
You decide to just keep the bandage on and take off the others as they were that bad and were also covered by the uniform. Speaking of uniform, you get changed into your new one that was left on the bed.
"Attention! Competitors who are on the podium will meet at the stage in 20 minutes. Congratulations!" Present Mic yells rather too loud into his already loud enough microphone, which echos throughout the halls from the multiple PA speakers.
You rinse off any soot or ash marks on your face and in your hair and take one long look into the mirror staring at your not so new injury.
Staring into the mirror, you cant take your eyes off your neck. A faint burn mark in the shape of a hand much larger than yours is imprinted on your neck. It felt like he marked you as his territory knowing it will probably never go away.
Your eyes tear up as you wonder any different way it couldve gone. What if you said no to having sex? What if you never went over to his house in the first place? What if you never agreed to date him? What if... the list went on for hours as you cried nonstop.
What the most awkward part of it all was seeing Bakugou after. He saw me sobbing on the floor clawing at my neck for air to breathe. So embarrassing. You knew what you were going to hear, "I told you so". You ignored your constant thoughts about the situation and tried your best to go to sleep.
The next day you went on with your normal routine trying to act like nothing happened. Woke up, took a shower, did your makeup, hair, ate breakfast, got Mioko, and went to school. This constant routine went on for weeks while having no contact with Isamu.
There were frequent times where Midoriya would wave with a slight smile and ask if you were okay. And everytime you waved back with a smile and nodded. You guys didnt have a super close friendship but he had always had a kind heart.
