The following day after Rowan's death, and the police searching all night, Sheriff Galpin arrived at the school to inform Wednesday and Raven that they hadn't found his body, as Weems walked behind them to her office.

"How could you miss a dead body?" Wednesday asked, as the Sheriff looked at her, "Cause is wasn't there." He said, as though it was obvious, as he continued, "No footprints, no blood, no sign of a struggle. Nothing, nada. My search party looked all night." He said, as Raven rolled her eyes, "Well, your search party must have left their seeing-eye dogs at home." Wednesday retorted.

Raven then spoke up, "We saw that monster kill Rowan right in front of us." She said, as the Sheriff finally turned to look at the elder twin, "Did you get a good look at this monster thing?" He asked, as Raven gave him a bitch face, "It didn't exactly stick around for a chat." She sassed, "Maybe it was one of your classmates." He mused, causing Weems to stop on her heel and whip around to face him, "Sheriff, I find that question offensive." She spoke, as he glanced at the Addams twins, before looking back at the headmistress, "Well, I don't care, cause I got three other dead bodies in the morgue. Hikers ripped apart in the woods." He said, causin Wednesday and Raven to share a look.

"The mayor said those were bear attacks." Weems stated, repeating what the mayor had said when questioned about the recent murders, as the Sheriff looked at the twins, "Well, the mayor and I disagree on that." He spoke, looking back at Weems, "So you automatically assume a Nevermore student is the murderer, even though there's no evidence a crime was even commited." She said, disbelief filling her voice, as the Sheriff placed his hands on his hips, "I'm sorry. I forgot, you only teach the good outcasts here, right?" He asked, sarcasm filling his voice, as Raven scoffed under her breath, as Weems let out a sigh.

They entered Weems' office, as she directed them to sit in the chairs in front of her desk, as she moved to sit behind it, "My guess is Rowan ran away. State troopers have put out an alert and I've contacted his family, but they haven't heard from him either." Weems informed them, as Wednesday looked at the headmistress, "Dead people are notoriously bad at returning calls." She spoke, sassing the teacher, as Raven crossed her arms, watching her sister carefully.

"What were you doing out in the woods with him, Ms. Addams?" The Sheriff asked, as Wednesday looked at him, crossing her hands in front of her, "I heard a noise in the forest and went to investigate. That's when I stumbled upon the attack" She said, before Galpin turned his gaze to Raven, "Why were you with them?" He asked, as she looked at him, "I saw Wednesday wandering towards the forest, and with the recent attacks, I had to ensure that my sister wasn't placing herself in danger." Raven answered, as his expression remained impassive,"Then what happened?" He asked, as Wednesday took over answering, "Then I ran into Bianca Barclay, and I told her to go for help." She said, as Raven nodded, "That's when Ajax saw me, he could see I was shaken and he brought me back to the school, along with Enid and Wednesday." She told him, "Next thing I remember, I was awakening in my dorm." Wednesday finished.

"Just to be clear, this monster wasn't a bear or some other wild animal?" He asked, as Wednesday kept her dark eyes on him, "I've hibernated with grizzlies. I know the difference." She said, as Raven nodded confirming her sisters words, "Thank you, Sheriff. I think both Miss Addams are done now." Weems said, as Raven stood up, ready to leave, "Actually, I would like to speak to Sheriff Galpin. Alone." She spoke, as Raven froze in her tracks, "Wednesday, come on. Let's go." She said, "I'm not sure I can allow that." Weems said, backing up Raven's words.

"I'm sure I could take her to the station and get a formal statement." Galpin spoke, as Raven closed her eyes, as she looked at Weems, "We can handle this." She told the headmistress, who remained impassive, "Yeah, lets go." Galpin spoke, before Weems moved, "Fine. You have five minutes, and everything is off the record. Play nice, or I will call the mayor." She told him, before leaving the room, leaving the twins alone with the Sheriff.
