Chapter 9

"Of course it was! I don't even know what you two are up to. So do you think it's not necessary for me to know?"

"Well..I'm not courting you yet naman, it was only him (Kite) and his beliefs."

Wala na syang ibang naidag-dag pa matapos nyang sabihin yun. Napabuntong hininga nalang ako saka dinagdagan ng gantong ang bonfire.

Unfortunately, it's not a flower but a monster with a fr*aking flower growing on top of its head. It looks like a goat with elongated horns, 3 eyes and razor sharp teeth. Halos kasing taas ko lang ito, pero kapansin pansin ang mahahaba nitong kamay at matatalas na mga kuko.

Naestatwa ako sa kinatatayuan ko.

Oo nga pala, why didn't I realized na hindi nabanggit sa akin ang kulay ng bulaklak na kailangang hanapin. They never told me that it's red in the first place. Why did I rushed over here mindlessly?

The monster let out a shrieking sound. As it was about to sl*shed my body in p*eces ay doon lang ako nabalik sa tamang huwisyo. There's no room for me to stand here st*pidly, waiting for someone to save me. Mabilis kong inilagan ang mahaba nitong mga kamay, I still stumbled backwards thought. "Are you st*pid! Did you forget that the flower we're going to get grows near a clift?! There's no fr*aking clift here! Now we're gonna be in huge trouble because of your st*pidity!"

I was shocked at Aya's outburst. Pero hindi ako nag isip ng excuse sa kat*ngahan ko.

She's is right.

"I'm sorry..."

When the two of them finally defeated the monster ay agad akong lumapit sa kanila para tulungan sila sa mga sugat na natamo. I didn't stop apologizing, until Nevéir let out a laugh and ruffled my hair.

"Stop apologizing, that monster is not even that strong to begin with."

But Aya's anger is a different story. Pasimple ko itong nilingon. Salubong ang kilay nito habang nakapamewang.

"Don't mind Aya, she's just worried about you."

"Sorry..again, I was just excited. I never knew that there's a monster like that here." And I never knew there's so many monsters that exist her in the lower city. Gusto ko sana iyong idagdag kaso pinigilan ko nalang ang sarili ko.

Nang makabawi ng lakas ay muling naglakad ang grupo namin. This time I remain quiet. Hindi ko na rin pinapansin ang ibang mga bagay na nadadaanan namin. Rikki and Nevéir told me it's okay, but I know Aya is mad that they're not blaming me. Perhaps she's regretting it now that they let Nevéir take me with them.

Nilabas ni Riki ang flyer at inilawan ang larawan ng bulaklak na kailangang kunin. It's a blue flower that look like a lily. There's not much of it, at karamihan ay nakatubo sa duluhang parte ng bangin mismo, some are even on the most dangerous part. Aya and I are incharge of plucking the flowers. While the two, Riki and Nevéir are warding off some unwanted creatures that may attack us. While plucking ay panay ang paalala ni Aya na dapat daw ay hindi masugatan ang kahit isa mang ugat ng halaman para tumagal pa ang buhay. I followed her order quietly.
