Chapter 2

Hindi ko alam kung ano ang tinutukoy nya pero sinunod ko nalang. Nagtagal
pa iyon ng ilang mga minuto bago sya umalis sa pwesto nya.

"Just kidding" Nanlalaki ang mata ko dahil nagawa pa nitong magbiro ng ganun.

"Seriously?"

He let out a soft chuckle before climbing back on his own bed. Nawala na ang antok ko kaya naman ay hindi ko na alam kung saan ibabaling ang sarili para maaliw. If I was the one who packed my things, of course I wouldn't be this bored today. I could've pack some of my rubics cube or something.

"I just think that you look familiar. I think I've seen you before, somewhere." I almost rolled my eyes comically. Isn't this the infamous line when someone wants to lie for attention?

"Just shut up." Narinig ko pa ang muling pagtawa nito saka tuluyang tumahimik. I don't know what's gotten into me, pero ibinaling ko ang paningin sa binatana na gawa sa salamin. To my horror, there ia really someone who's watching us?

Mabilis akong bumalik sa ilalim ng kumot ko and pretended that I didn't see anything. What the h*ll is that green looking figure outside the window?

I WALKED timidly behind Nevéir as we made our way out of the town. I didn't get enough sleep after what happened last night. Today we'll be going to the Academy he can't stop talking about and I'm a student there now? That's why he's here to fetch me up. Nevéir rejected the idea of riding a train, but instead he'll just buy a horse.

Does he have plenty of money? Saglitan kong sinilip ang maliit na pouch na nakakabit sa bewang nya. Pakiramdam ko ay bigla akong nangulila sa pera. Yesterday, today and the coming days---I'm officially broke and homeless.

"Riding a train isn't enjoyable like riding a horse you know. Plus we'll get to enjoy the view."

"Do what you like."

He was supposed to buy 2 horses, but when I told him I don't know how to ride one I'm expecting him to buy a carriage instead. Pero ang nangyari ay isang kabayo lang ang binili nito, and proposed the idea of us riding together. He even has this dreamy look in his eyes while talking.

"I'll just walk, so make sure to keep up with my pace."

"Really? Even if I told you that there's many green creatures around here. Like the one you saw last night."

"Really? What are those thing?"

Mabilis akong lumapit sa gilid nya. I'm genuinely curious because there's no such creature that exist in the flying city. Sandaling napatingin ako sa taas. The flying city is just floating above us. Sa unang tingin ay aakalain mong madali lang itong marating kung liliparin, but it's a different story.

Nevéir let out a kind smile, I ignored his smiling face and waited for him to answer my question.

"I'll tell you on the way. You should climb the horse now, or I'll really let you walk and those creatures will be after you."

Hindi na nito hinintay pa na makasagot ako dahil sumampa na sya sa kabayo. After that, he lend out his right hand for me. Without any choice, I grabbed his extended arms to help myself up. I'll just forget this in my memories later---that I got treated like a princess intentionally by a seemingly kind looking guy who doesn't look like a good person to me.
