The Fight

Adrian POV

We won the match.

The crowd went wild but I couldn't celebrate I looked over at Jayden to see that she was being dragged away by Victoria I looked at Carter who looked at me nodding as we left the gym following quickly behind them

We came to a stop as we saw Victoria and another teammate, Olivia at the end of the hall cornering Jayden making it hard for her to get away.

"Did you help them win?" Olivia asked with annoyance as Victoria paced up and down the hallway.

"No why would I do that?" Jayden replied defending herself her voice shaking as Victoria turned around angry.

"DON'T FUCKING LIE TO US!" Victoria yelled echoing through the hallway before calming down continuing.

"There's no way she knew how to break our form so you HAD to help her somehow." Victoria finished looking at Jayden, fear in her eyes.

"B-but I-I didn't." Jayden stuttered tears forming in her eyes.

"Then what did you do with her? Hmm?" Victoria asked Jayden making Olivia look uncomfortable at the question but stayed quiet.

"I d-did nothing I-I swear." Jaden replied now crying making Victoria's eyes still with even more anger.

"DON'T LIE TO ME!" Victoria finally unleashing her anger by punching Jaden in the face making her fall to the floor holding her face in pain.

That was the final straw.

I walked over to them grabbing Victoria's arm catching her off guard throwing her into the lockers making her look up at me with anger.

"Don't you ever fucking lay your hands on her again or we will have problems." I told her kneeling down in front of Jayden grabbing her arm lately putting it over my shoulder.

"Come on let's go beautiful I got you." I told her standing her up and started to slowly walk away letting go of all my anger towards Victoria, Jayden was more important but then I felt a pool on my hoodie.

"You're not going fucking anywhere." She said pulling me back anger in her eyes as I turned around trying to make her let go of me but then I felt it a punch. She had punched me.

I looked up at her my anchor coming back as I took my chance tackling her to the ground letting my anger out as I punched her back but she pushed me off not letting me get another punch in.

We continue to fight both of us getting our punches in as Olivia ran off in fear, Carter running off to go get my parents or even the coach while Jayden stood there in shock.

Then I heard running coming towards us along with voices from mom, mama, and lastly people coming closer.

"ADRIAN STOP, GET OFF HER!" My mama yelled but I couldn't stop she needed to pay for what she had done but I stopped when I saw her.

Jayden.

"Rian, baby, stop please." Jayden said grabbing my face making her eyes meet she was crying, shaking, she was scared that's what made me stop giving Victoria a chance to get out from under me.

I wrapped my arms around her putting my face on her shoulder calming down as she ran her hands through my hair slowly making me relax and smile coming to my face.

My coach and Victoria's coach were standing behind us looking in horror at the site they continued to stare my coach especially being no one has ever seen me this way, until my coach finally spoke.

"What happened to your Adrian?" She asked me as I took a deep breath telling them everything.

Everyone was shocked everyone couldn't believe what was happening between Jayden and Victoria how much she'd been hurting and hiding it.

"I'm so sorry Jayden that I didn't see it sooner." Her coach said looking at Jaden with sadness but then turning to Victoria with a look of anger.

"We are going to have a talk later Victoria." Was all she said before everyone went dead silent.
