Chapter 14

Rose POV:

I run to Tris's apartment, my cheeks wet from where I was crying. I could hardly see it was to blury.

"Rose!" The voice isn't erics.

"Rose!" Again. I turn around and see two figures running to me. a man and a women.
I wipe my tears and I can see better...

Jeanine and Marcus.

"Rose!" They hug me but I push them away,
"Do you seriously think I'm gonna be fine because of a hug? After all those years, Marcus had abused me! Jeanine, you just watching, laughing! You too are sick!" I scream.

Tris's apartment is round the corner, oh please I want someone here. Marcus's face was full of anger, Jeanine's looking bored.

I sigh,
"What are you doing here?"
"We came to find you" she smiled.
"And your brother"
"What?"
Jeanine glares at Marcus and muttered something but I couldn't hear.

"You know what? I don't care that you hid my brother! Fuck you!" I shouted at Marcus only,
I don't know why but Jeanine was always my favourite and I know he's bad but a part of me wishes I could be by her side.

She hugged me,
"I like your tattoo" she smiles at me.
"You know what it means right?" I mumbled, she nodded her head. she tapped her shoulder and I saw a tattoo she hides behind her blazer. it's a hand grabbing her hand, keeping her from going to the light. I smile, it represents Marcus keeping her away from safety.
"It's beautiful"
"I love you my angel"
" I love you too mummy" I felt like a little kid again. we hugged for a while but separated when we heard Marcus and someone shouting.
I see Marcus beating up...four.

I run at Marcus and shove him away. he looses his balance and is in the floor. we are on the top of the chasm.

"Rose"
I look at four. he is battered,

I give him an apologetic look but he shakes his head. it was my fault though,
"Umm I'll be leaving now" Jeanine interrupts. she grabs Marcus and pulls him away.

"I need to talk to you" he says, blood pouring from his nose.
"I'll take you to Tris."

I help him up and take him to tris, the door already opened.
"Hi.."
She looks at me and then to four, fear in her eyes.
"Take him to the bathroom" she says,
I lead him there and she helps clean him up,
"You're good at this!"
"my mum and my younger sister, prim, always helped the people." she says,
I smile,
"That's nice"

Four is all cleaned up and we are all sitting on the sofa.
"Okay, I want to know, are you and four going out?" I ask them both,
They turn red,
"Omg! You could of told me!" I squeal.

Tris POV:
"When are you going to tell Rose?" I mutter to four.

"Later.." He muttered back,

"So which faction did you guys come from?"

"Eru--- abnegation" four said,

"I came from erudite-- well actually grew up in amity" she smiled,
"What about you tris?" She asked me,
"Yh, what about you tris?" Four smirked, I elbowed him,
"Umm, well, I was in this place called district 12 with my sisters, Katniss and prim. Katniss was the same age as me, we were best friends... and then she was picked for the hunger games along with my best friend peeta," they both looked at me confused but curious,
"The hunger games is were 2 people, a boy and a girl, get picked on reaping day and have to kill all the other people from the different districts... I didn't want to watch my sister kill, especially as that would mean kill my best friend and her boyfriend, I found out they were dating... but in the middle of that, peacekeepers were killing us... My dad died in mining explosion... my mother told me to leave and come to here because they were searching for divergent.... they must of been to do with Jeanine,"
Rose shifted uncomfortably,
"But Katniss was also divergent... I hope she's okay," tears fell down my eyes but I wiped them away,
"Sorry,"
Rose hugged me,
"You will find her... and she will be alive"
I smiled,
"Thank you"
"Rose!" Four said sternly, "can I see you outside?"

Rose POV:
I walk outside,
"What the hell were you thinking? Getting that piercing?"
"Don't worry! They are fake! I wasn't actually going to get a real one!"
I pulled them put and threw them on the floor,
"I don't want them anymore! He is a fricken jerk! I don't want anything to do with him anymore! If you hurt him I wouldn't stop you!"
"Rose what did he do to you?!" He had worry in his voice,
"I was in his apartment and he was going to ask me something and then that horrid tattoo person came out from the bedroom, wearing hardly anything.... he cheated on me" I whispered the last bit.
"He is going to pay for what he did to my sister!"
"What?"
"Oh..."
"Are you keeping something from me!"
I slapped him,
"Tobias"
"Don't you dare say that name ever again!"
"Tobias eaton!" He shouted this time,
tears fell down my face, ho does he know him? He can't cause Tobias is dead...
"Tobias is dead" I sniffle,
"No he isn't, Marcus made me pretend I was in abnegation and I couldn't make any contact with you. I'm sorry"

I looked at him, from what I remember he did have the same eyes.
"I missed you"
He smiled,
"I missed you too"
My brother is alive.
