Lies and secrets (Eric/fanfiction)

Chapter 15

Eric POV:
What is the point if living? What's the point of life? What is life with out love but only hatred from everyone? I am never going to get her trust so what is the point? She was the only thing from keeping me from "falling" of the chasm.

Rose POV:
I wake up and in on the floor of Tris's and now four's apartment. Yet I'm the only one here. I throw my clothes on and head over to the canteen. People walk past me with sad looks. I look confused at them but they just have guilt. I shake my head and I can hear Max saying a speech, I go and creep over to where Tris and Four are. Tris has a tear down here eye, mouthing the words 'I'm sorry'. Four or Tobias looks at me and bear hugs me. What is wrong with people?
"He was a coward for taking his life, he only just told me about what happened with him and Rose! Who does that? But anyway let's have a party because he's dead! Ding dong the witch is dead"
Everyone laughs and sing along like their munchkins, exceptTris who is annoyed but Fours happy. they start arguing so I start leaving the crowd.
I look at Max, his eyes locked on me. He gives me a happy and thankful look.What is he on about?

I start to leave. I don't want to be here with everyone eyes on me. I see Christina and Will isn't here so I decide to go to their apartment. hopefully they aren't the same as these creepy people. Theirs something lying by the chasm. I realise, I haven't seen Eric or Kate I think her name is, the tattoorist. I guess their in his apartment having fun.
As I get closer I see loads of rubbish thrown at it. A body. theirs bruises on it, cuts and even bullet holes and knives in it. I see short, blonde hair with blue eyes... a strong looking face and muscles. theirs a tattoo on each arm.. and too piercings by his right eye...

There's a note next to it. I pick it up and it reads
"Thank you Rose for getting rid of this monster, we will live in happiness now without this witch. from all the dauntless except his friends... which is no one.

I start to cry, Eric is dead. He killed himself because of me. Yet no one even cares about him.
I run back to Tris's apartment to get the 2 piercings that represent him. I wish this would go away!

By the time I reach their I just want to sleep and forget about this. I sleep in the place I was before because it was comfy and the duvet cover was like Eric's silky, red one.

------ few hours later------

When I wake up again it's dusk. I miss Eric and I want to be with him but I can't. i think of the one place he loves. Not dauntless because they are horrid towards him. I know the perfect place.

I get on one of the motorbikes and ride to Amity. The wind rushing in my face. normally I would smile but tears fall down my eyes. he's gone. my tears are cold on my cheeks. I reach amity h.q. and drive in.

"Rose!" Johanna calls out.

"Hi! I can't stop!" I call out to her.
She nods her head and I drive to the my tree I used to have when I was in amity. When I find it I see it has been looked after well. I take out one of these pens that erudite normally have for school... but I stole it. I draw next to my name 'Eric' to show it's mine and Eric's tree. He did say he liked amity. and he wanted a tree...soo..
I walk back down and head to the treehouse. The lights are on but that must of been like that when I left it. It's so tall! I swing my leg over branch after branch, my legs scraping on the bark. I go a little bit closer and then pull the door open. I swing my body in. I can hear the tree blowing. maybe a little too much, I can hear cracking.

I go and sit down and see on the floor a chain with a name on it saying Rose. it's in the far corner in the dark. I gently pick it up and smile. I didn't know he had this.
Suddenly, another chain came out from the darkness but this one said Eric and had a note. it said: "I'm sorry for what I did to you. Kate was a bitch and tried to kiss me but she's gone.. completely out of dauntless and now factionless. I don't know what I will do without you. Please forgive me? If you say no well then my life has ended. but please forgive me? Please wear this chain and I'll wear mine to show you're mine and I'm yours." I gasp. what if it's too late? What if he already jumped? Well of course he did. his body was lying by the chasm. and if he didn't die from that then he died from being shot and stabbed multiple times.. I could of saved him. I put the chain on and lean back. the tree cracked even more. I was about to close my eyes when I felt a pair of hands around my waist. it had snake tattoos on their arms...

"I love you" his voice.
I turn my head to look at him and it is! He's alive!

It was all a dream.
The tree made a loud crack and the tree broke and we were on the floor. Smoke filling the room broken room. Where there's smoke there's fire.
