Chapter 9 : The Camping

Ji Eun's P.O.V
I found a letter on my desk. I glanced at Jackson and Suzy. They both also have it.
"Drama Club Motivation Camp." I read the title. I opened the letter and read it. It was next week...and we will be camping in the wood. Well, I don't know what to do. I have never experience camping before. I always saw Jackson helping his friends with a lot of things when I'm in his necklace before. I hope everything went well with Jackson...he seems kind of afraid. And I know why.

Jackson's P.O.V
I read the letter. Camping..I don't hate camping but there was something bothered my mind. When I was a middle school student, I was happy going camping until something happened to me. I was afraid since then. I can't go near river or beach. That accident happens when my friend accidently pushed me into a river. We were both lost and thirsty back then. So, I bent down to drink the fresh water. My friend slipped and pushed my into the water. The river was very deep and there were some tree twigs at my feet. My feet was stuck and I can't swim. My friend don't know how to swim so he runs searching for help leaving me gasping for air. I was afraid and hoping someone to save me. I can't breathe and the world went black..then I can feel something moving and pulling me. I opened my eyes and saw a girl with a long hair staring at me. She stood up and leave me laying on the ground. I was shocked and confuse, after a while my friend were back with my teacher. I asked him about the girl then he said he don't know...and some of my friend teased me saying that it was a ghost...I don't really care and since then I was afraid to go near water. Well, I hope this camping will be alright.
The class went like usual and me and Ji Eun walked home. She was living with me now. I just let her stays when she said she had no where to go.

Ji Eun's P.O.V
We packed our things after we ate and finished our homework. I helped Jackson to pack some important equipment when we need it in the woods. And time flies so fast...And I'm just really hoping that everything was going to be fine.

One week later, camping time, in the woods.
Jackson's P.O.V
I entered the woods hoping and praying everything gonna be alright. I felt familiar and weird when I was walking following the track. Then, I heard something. It was water flowing in the river. I was shocked that we reached the same river in the accident. I finally get it. We went camping at the same place that had brought an unforgetful memory in my life. I was scared at first then I just continue walking to the base camp.

Ji Eun's P.O.V
We make a fire using the firewood that had been collected. The night time here felt very peaceful. I enjoy the jungle scenery here. Then I heard Suzy screaming with joy. I don't want to join the other member. I looked at Jackson who was also sitting alone in one corner. I wonder what he was thinking.
"Yaaah, lets have some fun! We can enjoy ourselves in the cold river! Lets play a game! The one who lose will be thrown into the water! Deal!?!" Asked Suzy excitedly.
"I'm not playing." Said Jackson
Now I know was he was thinking.
"Dude, why not! Since you're not playing, we throw you first! Ahahaaah!" Said one of the member. They quickly got up and gathered around Jackson. And I can heard Jackson groaning refusing the idea. I have to save him. I watched them holding Jackson's legs and hands.
"No! Please stop!" I said as I ran towards them. However, it was too late. Jackson was in the water right now. I have to save him.

Jackson's P.O.V
Even though I keep refusing they just hold my hands and legs and on the count of three they throw me. I was scared. I'm in the river again..the same river..it was like a playback of the accident. I could not move even though my feet were free this time. My body freeze and keep sinking deeper and deeper into the river. I was out of air and my views almost went black...until I felt somebody holding me...
