Sorry for the delay of this upload. Everything has been so hectic and I didn't realized that I haven't uploaded last Monday. But here it is now!

DAY FOUR AFTERNOON

It was decided that I would sleepover at Hinata's. Sakura declined the invitation because she was eating dinner with her boyfriend. I rolled my eyes at that for your information. Ino also said no because she had to help out her parents with their flower shop as they had a big order for tomorrow. So, it just left me. There was no way I would be saying no to a sleepover at the Hyuga's. The food there was like something you would order at a fine dining restaurant because of their own personal chef.

I texted my mom to inform her I would be at Hinata's so that she wouldn't file a missing person report once the clock ticked 11:00. Once all that, I found myself lying in Hinata's bed, a facial mask slapped over my face. Hinata hummed as she put slices of cucumber in my eyes, forcing me to close them.

"What is this, Hinata?" I asked, blindly taking the remaining cucumber on the small plates she put them in and ate them.

"You should take care of your skin, Ten," she answered as I felt her standing up from the bed. "Archery isn't everything. I mean–your a prodigy and all but I can't have you looking way, way older than your age,"

"Hey!" I exclaimed, offended as I threw the last piece of cucumber in my mouth. "I'm sure it's not that bad,"

"For now," she answered, returning to the bed beside me. "You have your youth to thank for that but as we age our body needs extra care,"

I shrugged. Who was I to argue with a Hyuga? A family that somehow defied all logic about beauty standards. All of them–and I mean all, were so naturally good looking it was impossible to not mistake them for models or actors or any celebrities really. Even her loathsome cousin.

Though I had to admit the very first time I saw him, he piqued my interests. But he quickly squashed that as soon as that dreadful mouth of his opened. How he could be so different from Hinata was a mystery to me. While Hanabi on the other hand was a perfect balance of a lady and a child. She was playful–I've played with her a couple of times after Hinata surrendered–and then would be such a perfectly mannered child whenever there were visitors other than me.

After another hour of pampering by Hinata, she had finally been satisfied. With a tired smile gracing her lips, she said goodnight. I pulled the blanket all the way up to my neck and closed my eyes as well. But I couldn't sleep. I opened my eyes again and looked around Hinata's room as much as my eyes could see in the dark.

Which wasn't much because I wasn't a bat.

After maybe a half hour of staring into darkness, I decided to walk it off, thinking that some fresh air might make me sleepy. I slowly stood up from the bed, careful to not wake the sleeping beauty beside me. Once I was sure she didn't stir, I tiptoed towards the door. Hyuga doors do not creak. So, I confidently opened it.

Once I was in the hallway, I could finally breathe. I held it in while I was walking towards the door because it sounded so loud in the dead of the night. I wouldn't want to disrupt Hinata's rest–it's bad for one's health. So she says. If I said that to my mother each time she'll wake me up I'll be buried six feet under repeatedly.

I started to garden. The rest of the house was asleep too. But I had no trouble navigating my way because as over the top as everything is in the Hyuga house, their hallway lights react to movements. You move, it turns on. During my first sleepover I almost had a heart attack when it happened. Back home, only the living room had an automatic light. So, imagine my surprise when I stepped outside into the hallway and a bright light greeted me.
