Chapter 5 - Stranded at Campus

So, Friday was a bust. Arrived at college, we had a small session in the main hall and it was over in 2 hours, campus was mostly empty on a Friday. Only the 1st year students were at campus. The second year students didn't have to come in but they did any way for extra credits.

At the end of the two hours, campus was over. Jordan however, skipped class and decided to leave me stranded at campus because for some reason he had to take his girlfriend to her Aunt. So i was sort of stranded i would say.

Epic part of that morning though, Natalie's car broke down in the parking lot and her car was literally standing on three wheels it was hilarious.

I was trying to figure a way to get home when Nadia , Tate, and Aunt Maranda came out of class and started standing with me keeping me company. Aunt Maranda was much older than the rest of us , she was doing the course with Nadia and Tate but she was an extremely fun person. The students were crazy about her. We were all close, well they were because they were in the same class. i only happened afterwards. But we all became close after a while.

While Natalie left me alone to watch her three wheeled car while she went with some other girls to get a new tyer, Aunt Maranda and Nadia went to the bathroom. Leaving me alone with Tate.

"So how are you going home" he asked breaking the silence.

"Honestly, Im not sure, My moms not home so she cant fetch me, so i really dont know" i stated sadly.

" At least you wont have to be going home in that" he gestured pointing towards Natalie's car.

Which i might add was in a three wheeled condition.

I bursted out laughing for his statement, and he just started laughing with me. Not long after that his lift pitched up and he had to leave.

" You'll let me know if you get home safely?" he said before walking towards his lift.

"I'll try, but my battery is about to die" i stated.

"Just , let me know, speak soon!" he said before getting into a black car and driving off.

Right about the same time Tate drove off Aunt Maranda came back.

" Wheres Nadia?" i asked.

" Well , her lift came around back, she said to tell you to enjoy your weekend and she hope you find a way home, also she just heard Shes going to Montague Resort for the weekend" Aunt Maranda stated.

" At least she'll enjoy her weekend " i stated.

Then we just started having a normal conversation. I swear this is the craziest women, she spoke like she was our age. She was telling me stories about how she met her husband, among many other things. Until finally her lift showed.

She then drove off leaving me with Natalie's three wheeled car. Not long after that Natalie was back with a tyre for her car. Luckily the girl that took her to get the wheel, lived in my area. Lucky me, I got a lift home, well sort of, but i was not complaining.

I arrived home early afternoon. Just collapsing on my bed even though it was midday. I had to walk the rest of the way home because it turns out the girl just drove a distance away from where i actually lived. I plugged my phone into the charger and instantly received a message from Tate.

Tate: " Still waiting  at campus ?"

Me: " Well actually, yes that time I was, then my battery died, they only came back 12:40, sooo I was sitting alone infront of Natalie's car, campus was empty
