Y/n leaned against the railings and felt the cool breeze hit her face. She felt very happy that Arjun got a gift for her. She decided to call him. But her mind, conflicted the thought. She didn't want to ruin his surprise for her. So, she didn't call him.

She was lost in her thoughts when she felt a presence beside her. She recognized the person as Taehyung.

" Oh! It's you" Y/n spoke with a small smile.

" Yeah... You are not playing with them?" Taehyung asked Y/n.

" Yeah... I am not playing with them... I didn't wanted to... Just some alone time. What about you?" she smiled.

" I didn't want to tell them my secrets and deeds. I know Jimin and Jungkook very well. They were playing this game so that some secrets can be spilled." Taehyung spoke seriously.

" Oh... " Y/n continued.

" I remember running into you on the airport. I am sorry for that"

" It's okay."

Y/n took a sip of her beer, and something clicked her mind. So, she innocently asked something from Taehyung.

" Mr. Kim, I see that you don't talk to anyone... You are so quiet... Is there any problem?"

" No. You tell me. Why do you remain quiet and gave small replies"

" Oh... So, you noticed it..." Y/n spoke in a low tone. Taehyung looked at her waiting for a reply. She didn't look at him in the eyes.

This was the moment. Taehyung came to know that those big, beautiful eyes are hiding something deep and painful inside. The small smile is not real. According to him, this was a similarity between him and Y/n. He was still looking at her for a reply and soon after got one.

" Mr. Kim... I am sleepy. Have a good night" Y/n spoke and left from there in a hurry.

Taehyung didn't say anything and stood there sinking in his deep thoughts.

Y/n reached her room and locked it from inside. She disposed the empty beer can in the dustbin and sat on the work desk that she got for herself when she became Mr. Raheja's secretary. She took out a purple diary from her drawer and started penning down her feelings in it. She wrote about her day and feelings in it. After writing her diary, Y/n felt light. Today, she wrote about Arjun, and her day.

My Arjun... The only safe place I have... He got a present for me... He remembered our 1 year anniversary... Tomorrow it is... I am so glad that I have him... He never scolded me or talked rudely with me. He is the best person I know. Not like the first time he is being praised by me in front of you... I love him, He loves me. Love... It is the best thing that has ever happened to me and is caused by Arjun... He never forced me to go the 3rd base of our relationship with him. He understands my insecurities and concerns which is the best part about him. Fine... I'll leave a few things for the next time... But I want the world to know that I am in love with him... I want mumma and papa to know that I have a boyfriend just like Payal di has Jin Oppa. Right... Mr. Kim told me to call him Jin Oppa...

Y/n closed the diary and kept it back inside the drawer. She plopped herself on the bed and slept. She wanted to have sweet dreams, so she put a locket under her pillow. It was a memory locket which was given to her mother when she was 4. Since then, she keeps it under her pillow every night.

THE VERY NEXT MORNING

Y/n woke up before her alarm could ring. She wore the locket and stepped out of the bed. She did her morning routine and got ready to go to the office. Today, she wanted to wear an Indian attire. She was very happy today because it was her and Arjun's 1 year anniversary. She wanted to celebrate it in the evening with him after the two of them finish their work.

Y/n went down and saw that everyone was present there on the dining table except her, Payal, and Seokjin. Y/n went and sat on one of the empty seats beside Taehyung.

" Good Morning Mumma Papa" Mr. and Mrs. Raheja wished Y/n back and she wished everyone else too.

Soon Payal and Seokjin came, and everyone had their breakfast. Y/n was leaving for office when she was stopped by Taehyung.

" Ms. Raheja, do you mind taking me to the office? I want to have a look" Y/n didn't want to refuse Taehyung's request but if she took him with her, she'd have to work overtime and because of this she won't be able to celebrate with Arjun.

" Mr. Kim, I am afraid I have to refuse your request because today, I have some important-" Payal cut Y/n in between and spoke being a little pissed.

" Y/n don't refuse Taehyung. Take him. It's not like you have a very special position. A secretary can work overtime"

" Gwenchanhayo noona. She must be busy today." Taehyung spoke politely in a monotone.

" Y/n take him with you. You won't fall sick by working a little overtime. Please"

Y/n had to take Taehyung with her to the office. She told him to wait for a minute while she take her handbag and necessary documents. She went upstairs and bought her items. Seokjin and the others were going with Payal to explore the city.

Y/n opened the main door to go out. Taehyung followed her. It was when a person came in and handed a box to Y/n. She took it and signed as the receiver. A smile formed on her face which was the most genuine one. Taehyung was silent the whole time.
