"That conversation... it was-was nothing... just a friendly conversation between 2 sisters..." Y/n spoke. Her voice cracked. Taehyung also didn't fail to notice it. 

" You know you can tell me... I am all ears..."

This was the first time someone said Y/n could tell them how she felt. Tears automatically made their way down through her eyes. 

" Hey-hey-hey! Don't cry Y/n. I didn't mean to make you cry..." Taehyung tried to soothe her. Je didn't know how to do so. This has never happened before. He had never consoled a crying person. 

" I won't say anything, but my heart wants to... I don't know what is happening to me... Simply Why... Can I trust you?"

Y/n asked directly looking into Taehyung's eyes. He didn't break the eye contact either. His eyes showed determination. But for what? Y/n wondered but she remained silent. The silence spoke his thoughts out loud, yet they were unheard by Y/n. 

" Your secret will remain safe with me..."

" I am trusting you Taehyung...."

" Rest assured." The last words came out as a whisper from his mouth. 

" Inside the hall, in the roka ceremony... Payal di didn't like my gift... I gifted cufflinks to Jin Oppa and a diamond set to Di. She said that her friend had the same set... I was wrong... the gifts I bought for them were very formal... like the ones we gift at business parties and gatherings..."

" I thought that you were joking with Noona..."

" That's what my mom said... But it was the other way round. Payal Di was pissed at the fact that I gave a necklace to her. The neckpiece I got for her was a designer's choice piece. Only 2 of them were there in the world. I had to pay a huge amount to get that one. One was already sold to a Chinese businessman, and for the second one, I had to give a lot of money for that one. "

" It's okay... Noona might not have noticed the neckpiece properly and said that. Don't take it to heart... You can explain it to her later on. I am sure she will understand what you mean. "

Taehyung spoke trying to appease Y/n yet again. She looked at him with teary eyes and nodded slightly in agreement. Taehyung was still new to her. She knew him through Payal. What if he told everything to Payal... Wouldn't that land her into a big problem? Y/n's mind chanted these words. 

" It's okay... Whenever something happens, you shouldn't be the one to regret your actions. Letting things go on as they wish to be the best way to escape reality... At least, that's what I always do..."

Y/n looked at Taehyung. The wind was blowing, and her hair was going with the flow of the wind. Taehyung's short hair was flowing too. She looked at him with curiosity spilling from her eyes. 

" These kinds of stuff happen with you as well?"

" No... My brother is great... A few things happened in the past because my Jin Hyung is always cautious around me... I can't let things go so, I go with the flow..."

" What happened? You know you can tell me...."

" Might as well... Someday... I might tell you... This is unknown to everyone but one person..." 

" Maybe we will become best of friends... We never know what the future holds for us..." Y/n smiled at Taehyung when a sudden weird question popped up in her mind. 

" Why were you so interested in knowing what was the matter going on between me and Payal di?"

This was the first time that Taehyung was left speechless in front of Y/n. She looked at him curiously while he lowered his gaze. 

No, he wasn't ashamed or anything... He was not sure... He didn't know why this was happening to him... He wasn't sure as to why he got jealous whenever he saw Jungkook going near Y/n. 

Does this happen often between friends? 

The answer may be a yes or a no... 

This happens between people who are more than friends... And this doesn't quite really happen with people who have titled themselves as just friends. 

Taehyung said nothing and simply went inside. Y/n saw his disappearing figure as she was left in confusion.

After a while of contemplating things, Jimin came out to call Y/n for dinner. Everyone was waiting for Y/n in the dining room with the groom and the bride. Y/n went inside along with Jimin and sat on the empty seat beside Jungkook and Taehyung. She again sat in between Taehyung and Jungkook. 

Jungkook was ready to act all sweet with Y/n and Taehyung too was all ready to sulk and ponder upon him becoming jealous. Y/n was all set to accept Jungkook's sweet gestures towards herself along with contemplating Taehyung's attitude while all this happened. 

Jungkook served Y/n some rice along with some dal. Taehyung immediately picked up the papad and kept it on her plate before Jungkook could. Again, before Jungkook could comprehend, Taehyung served some mixed vegetables to Y/n which she gladly accepted unaware of the budding competition between the latter. 

The dinner went on peacefully. Payal chose not to look at Y/n and ruing her peaceful dinner with her soon-to-be husband. Y/n on the other hand too had her dinner. 

Everyone at the dinner table was busy thinking about some other person. Payal and Jin were busy in each other's thoughts. Taehyung and Jungkook kept thinking about Y/n. Y/n was thinking about Arjun and her beautiful moments with him.  

After having their dinner, everyone was tired after a long day. They had to go back and take a rest to begin the pre-wedding functions tomorrow. Everyone went back to their rooms and dived into the blankets of deep slumber.
