Ezra Miller x Reader.

Summary: Ezra attempts to "prank" you, but it backfires.

You knock at Ezra's front door, Sweating due to the hot weather from the sun. It was finally summertime, which had its perks.

Still standing at Ezra's front porch, he didn't answer the door. You knew he was home, because his vehicle was parked in his drive way. Plus his kitchen lights were on.

You try to peak through the crack of the curtain but you don't see Ezra.

You groan in annoyance and begin banging your fist against his front door. You sighed and waited for Ezra to open the door.

You had a key, but you hadn't brought it because you and Ezra planned to hang out.

You stepped away from the front porch. Walking down the stairs and going down a path that lead to his back door. The dirt path left a trail of your foot prints.

You tip toe onto his back porch. The front porch only had a view to the living room, hallway and the stairs. The back door let you see the washroom and the kitchen, the living room as well.

The floor boards creaked as you attached to walk on them. Peaking through the windows on the back of the house, you saw Ezra crouched behind a counter. Holding a hand over his mouth as he wheezed and giggled.

This made you smile. Seeing Ezra hiding from the front door but being oblivious to the backdoor.

You felt your smile grow even wider when you saw snacks displayed on his coffee table. Plus a movie was playing on the television. Your favourite movie to be exact.

You quietly walked off the back porch. If Ezra wanted to prank you, you were going to attempt to prank him back.

You walked through the fields of his farm. A goat bleating at you as you hid behind extremely tall grass. You took a breath in, when you exhaled you let out a loud blood curling scream.

You waited a few seconds before letting out more screams. Holding a hand over your mouth to cover your loud laughter.

You could picture Ezra's face. He would be confused but concerned at the same time. His eyebrows would furrow and his lips would part. Squinting his brown eyes.

You could just picture it. It made you laugh even harder.

Suddenly you heard Ezra calling out for your name. You heard the fear in his voice. It sounded far away though. If you really were missing, he would never find you.

Thirteen minutes passed as Ezra called out for your name, his name calling stopped but you could still hear Ezra breathing heavily as he ran around his fields.

Your cheeks hurt from laughter. You were sitting on the dirt ground. Your Jean shorts got a bit of dirt on them.

You grew bored, standing up and seeing Ezra's head peaking over the grass. It seemed like he was trying to jump scare you.

You bite your lip. Waiting for him to jump out, you walked over to the tall grass we're Ezra was.

You heard the sounds of soft crying. You felt guilt immediately. You gulped and walked in front of Ezra.

He looked at you with eyes of relief, he held his arm open, you wrapped your arms around his torso. Ezra wrapped his arms tightly around your back. Pushing you closer to his chest.

"You scared me." Ezra stated with a shaky voice. You giggle into his chest, you felt slightly bad but your "prank" was successful.

"At first I thought it was my goats but then it started to sound more and more like a little girl-"

You pinched Ezra back, cutting him off. He chucked a bit and pulled away from the hug. "I don't sound like a little girl." You cleared your throat.

Ezra smirked, "I know, you sound like a smoker-" You lightly punched his chest. He laughed like a child while holding where you hit him. You tried to not laugh, but Ezra's laugh was contagious.

You and Ezra laughed a little bit, eventually you bother walked back to his house. His hand wrapped around your shoulder. Keeping you close to him.
