A long time ago in a kingdom named Paragon a king and queen had a daughter. Their daughter was an extremely special child. Why you may ask? Because she had a hidden power. She could make any room shine with positive energy. She was the gem of her kingdom. Her name was Mariella Kashin. Mariella had one friend, a prince from another kingdom named prince Stanley.

Stanley and Mariella saw each other like siblings and since Prince Stanley lived in the palace with his family he grew up with Mariella like they were siblings. They could go anywhere in the kingdom. But there was one place that they were forbidden to go to, The Shining Forest. Why you may ask? Because beyond The Shining Forest was another kingdom.

Paragon's enemy kingdom Timeigon. Timeigon 's king and queen also had a child. His name was Prince Jake. Prince Jake was a very handsome young boy. Every time he went into town he would make all of the girls in his kingdom fall head over heels for him. He didn't mind though, he knew he was handsome and let all of the girls shower him with love and affection but hoped someday that he would meet his one true love. The prince also had a childhood friend. Her name was princess Trixie. Trixie was ALSO from a neighboring kingdom. Princess Mariella and Prince Jake lived their lives in their kingdoms wishing for the day they would meet their one true love.

As eigtht years went by Mariella and Jake grew up in their respective kingdoms. Prince Jake was allowed to go into The Shining Forest as he wished. But since this information was known to King Nathan and Queen Nicole, they told their young daughter to NEVER go into The Shining Forest telling her that The Shining Forest was filled with dangerous animals and plants that could kill her instantly to scare her away from The Shining Forest. So the little princess stayed in her palace locked away in her room afraid to step foot outside of her palace.

But one day an eighth year old Mariella grew bored of her palace and asked her parents if she could leave. Even though the king and queen were hesitant to let her go they agreed as long as she went with some guards to protect her. After the guards were sent, little Mariella went out into town and was greeted by the townfolk as she walked buying lots of things from town. The little princess did this on a daily basis but one day the little princess wanted to see beyond the kingdom's walls so one day on a busy day in town she intentionally got separated from her protectors and raced out of the kingdom making it into The Shining Forest.

Although her parents told her that The Shining Forest was an ugly and scary place, she found that the forest was a very beautiful and magical place. The forest was filled with beautiful flowers and cute little animals. She quickly got comfortable sitting on a log and sang a soft toon. As the hours went by she picked wild flowers and petted the animals. But after a good five hours her parents found her and brought her home. Mariella was talked to by her parents to stop going to The Shining Forest but despite the warning she kept going to the forest. As the months went by the little princess would visit The Shining Forest.

But one day when she visited The Shining Forest she met a boy. The boy was two years older than her. He had black hair and hazel eyes. The little princess had strawberry blonde hair and emerald green eyes. The little princess looked at the boy and tried to flee. "Wait!" The little boy cried as The little princess ran through the forest. But when she tripped the little princess froze as the boy walked over to her and held his hand out. The little princess hesitantly took the boy's hand and was helped off the ground by the little boy. "Hi! I'm Jake! What's your name?" The little boy asked as Mariella giggled. "I'm Mariella! Nice to meet you Jake!" Mariella said as the two talked. As the two talked the princess started to trust the young prince. As the day drew to an end the two royals went to their respective kingdoms promising to be friends.
