A Turn For The Worst

As the years went by the two royals started to develop feelings for each other. But one day Mariella was told some devastating news by her father. A king from a rival kingdom made an offer to the king saying that if he marries his young daughter off to his son Prince Daniel then they will be strong allies with the rival kingdom and would provide anything that the king may require in a future event.

Hearing this made the princess upset but knowing she had no choice in the matter she agreed to be married off to this unknown prince at the price of losing the freedoms she once had being queen to an unknown prince which she was told was a very protective ruler to his soon-to-be queen.

As day fell to night the devastated princess ran into The Shining Forest in tears and when she saw her beloved friend she told him everything about what happened which made her friend uneasy. "I know Prince Daniel. He tried to marry my young sister Vivian and when she met her now beloved, he tried to kill her beloved and after failing, that mad prince took her away from my kingdom and threatened to kill her if she tried to escape his grasp. If he knows that we are talking then he will try to kill me. If I survive however. Then your life will be in danger."

As the princess heard this she started to weep louder than ever. Seeing his beloved in so much distress he took her by the hands and made a promise to her. His promise? He promised to protect her from the mad prince no matter what happens. After this encounter the two royals went home trying to figure out what to do next.
