The days pass, eventually they turn into weeks, then months.
Buffy and Dawn haven't spoken to Dean or Sam since that friday. Buffy feels broken, but she has to be okay. She still has to worry about Glory and all.
Sam and Dawn were just caught in the crossfire. Dawn wasn't mad at Sam for not telling her and Sam wasn't mad at her either. They were just torn apart by their older siblings. Sam and Dean left Sunnydale, Dawn, and Buffy behind.
It's almost time to take on Glory. Buffy and Spike leave to get weapons and everyone else stays at the magic shop.
"I want to call Sam and Dean. Maybe they could help" Willow says to no one in particular.
"Do you think Buffy would be okay with it?" Xander asks holding Anya's hand.
"Does it matter? She could die. If Sam and Dean were here theres less chance of that happening"
"Your right. I don't want her to die. Call please Will"
Willow picks up the phone and calls Deans cell phone.
"Dean?"
"Who's this?"
"It's Willow"
"Willow? What do you need?"
"Buffy's taking on Glory tonight and I just think you should be here to help"
"We can start heading that way but it'll take around a half hour"
"Thank you so much Dean, I'm so worried about her" Willow replies and Dean sighs. Dean hangs up and tells Sam what's going on.
Dean pulls up in time to see a giant rip in their reality.
"Holy shit" he mumbles and gets out Sam following behind him. Dean starts running toward the stairs of the makeshift building. He gets to the very top just in time to see Buffy jump.
"No!" He screams running after her. He stops as the rip closes and turns to Dawn, his eyes filled with tears.
"Why?" He whispers and they stand there for a second. Dean grabs Dawns arm and they run back down the stairs. Once they get to the bottom Sam runs over to Dawn and hugs her while she cries.
Dean stares at Buffy's body and closes his eyes.
Willow and Xander set up Buffy's funeral. Everyone goes, even Spike, he just has to stay in the shade.
Dean and Sam stay with Dawn until Willow and Tara can move in.
"Sam it's time to go" Dean says emotionless.
"Dean, I want to stay with Dawn" Sam says from the top of the stairs.
Dean stares at Sam then turns and walks out of the house. Not even saying goodbye to his little brother.
Sam walks back into Dawns room. She's still asleep and he lays back down beside her. He kisses her, waking her up.
"Hi Sam" she half smiles at him.
"Hi Dawn" he replies.
"Where's Dean?" Sams face changes to a sad smile.
"He left" he whispers. Dawn holds herself up on one arm and hugs him.
"I'm so sorry" she whispers against his neck. He pulls back and kisses her.
She pulls back and stares at him for a while, then takes off her shirt. He stares at her surprised and then she takes off his shirt too. She kisses him again. She pulls herself on top of him and kisses his chest.
She takes off her pants and he takes off his.
Sam rolls on top of Dawn and moves against her slowly. She moans his name and runs her hands down his back.
He kisses her again and moves his hands into her hair. He groans between kisses. He eventually lays down beside her and holds her hand.
"I love you" he whispers so she can't hear him, as she snuggles up against him.
