Sam and Dean raced to get to the Summers house. They barely talked, both angry about having to return within 24 hours.
After a couple hours they pulled up to the house. Sam was the first out of the car bounding up the porch steps with a shot-gun in hand.
"Sammy!" Dean yelled but found that it was pointless, being that Sam was already in the house.
"Damn it" Dean muttered, grabbing his own shot-gun and racing in after Sam.
He walked in and first saw Dawn. She was tied up to the stair railing; unconscious. She must've been hit in her head because a steady stream of blood made its way down her face and neck, staining her shirt.
In the living room Sam and the windigo were fighting. Sam kicked it in the face sending it through the air, sprawling on his back. Dean went to Dawn since it didn't look like Sam needed the help.
Dean untied her arms and shook her lightly trying to wake her.
"Dawn" he said shaking her harder then paused and checked for a pulse. It was faint, but it was there.
Her eyes rolled back showing her eye whites. Dean pulled her into his arms and began standing.
"Sammy, don't kill it. I don't know where Buffy is" he shouted.
"No problem, Dean" Sam replied sarcastically not looking at Dean.
"I have to take Dawn to get help, can you take care of this?"
"Dean go now, she doesn't have that much time" he yelled and turned to Dean, realizing that was a bad idea only after he'd had his legs swept out from under him.
"Sa-"
"Now!" He shouted pushing the wendigo off of himself and rushing to stand.
Dean sighed and ran out of the door, not bothering to close the door. He sat Dawn in the backseat and sped off towards the closest hospital.
He pulled up to the building and parked. Grabbed Dawn out of the backseat and ran to the doors.
"Help" he shouted as he walked in. Nurses and doctors rushed to him taking Dawn from his arms and putting her onto a gurney.
"Sorry sir you can't go any further than here for now" a nurse said as she hurried after the others.
"No problem" Dean said to himself as the swinging doors closed. He hurried back out to the car, hoping Dawn would be okay. He rushed back to the house and ran back inside.
Sam was standing over the wendigo. He had tied it up where Dawn had been. It snarled at Dean. He reached down and punched him in the face.
"Where's Buffy?" He half shouted.
"Why should I tell? You already took my snack" this time it was Sams turn to punch the thing.
"Listen, asshole, you won't like what happens if you don't tell us where she is now!" Dean said steadily raising his voice. The wendigo coward into the corner but spoke, not faltering his voice.
"What are you gonna do? Kill me? That's what the Winchesters are famous for, isn't it?"
"How do you know who we are?" Sam asked.
"You killed my family. Six years ago you took my wife from me"
"She was a monster she had it coming, and so do you" Dean said sneering.
"Well I guess the girl means nothing to you" the wendigo said smiling at Dean disgustingly. Dean punched him again and pulled a knife out.
"If you kill me, you'll never see her again" Dean paused and let his arms fall limply to his sides.
"Where is she!?" Dean screamed furiously.
"What do you want?" He yelled again.
"Don't you see? This had all been a trap. The phone call, the missing girl. What do you think I want?"
"Us" Sam said shooting Dean a stare.
"Well here we are, come and get us" Dean said sarcastically.
"How bout we'll let you go if you tell us where she is" Sam said calmly.
"You swear you will?" The wendigo looked uncertain.
"Yes" Sam said quietly.
The wendigo pointed up the stairs.
"Her room" he whispered and Sam shot Dean another look. Dean plunged the knife into his chest.
"She's not here" Sam yelled from the top.
"Test" the wendigo gasped.
"You failed" he chuckled as he died. Deans eyes filled to the brim, threatening to betray him. He blinked back the tears and stabbed the creature over and over, tearing the flesh from his chest.
He stopped after a while. There was barely a body left.
"We need to find her" Dean whispered staring at the mangled body emotionlessly.
"We will after--"
"We need to find her now!" Dean shouted snapping his head at Sam.
"Ok"
"Search the house and I'll check the cars" Dean said rushing out of the door. He checked car after car coming upon his eighth car he used the butt of his gun to break the window.
He peered through the vans opening seeing a pool of blood seeping from behind a seat. He pulled himself in and scurried to the back.
He saw Buffy's body. She had chunks missing from her abdomen and bruises covered her arms and legs.
She looked dead and she had no clothes on. Dean pulled her onto his lap and felt for her pulse. He couldn't feel anything but he couldn't give up on her. He took off his leather jacket and wrapped it around her naked torso.
He kicked open the back doors and jumped onto the cement. He wasted no time going back inside.
"Sammy!" He shouted as he ran towards the impala. Sam ran out of the house and saw Buffy's body and ran towards the car too.
Dean sat her in the front seat carefully, lying her head on his lap. He drove faster and faster but the time seemed to be endless. After what seemed like forever he pulled up to the familiar doors.
"Take her" Dean turned to Sam in the backseat.
"Ok" Sam replied hearing the hopelessness in Deans voice.
Sam pulled her out of the car and carried her out of sight. Dean found a parking spot as fast as possible and bounded back into the hospital waiting room.
