Dean gets in the impala and drives far away from Sunnydale. Away from the pain, and the loss, and the only family he has left.
He turns on the radio to hear better man. Tears stream down his face. He lost Buffy, and Sam in the sum of four days. He wipes his eyes and turns up the music.
Soon he pulls up to a hotel and rents a room. He puts all his stuff in the room and goes to the bar down the street.
He flirts with the bartender and she pays for his drinks. He sees a man, tall with dark hair. He looks suspicious so Dean follows him.
They walk into an alleyway and the man must've realized Dean was following him because he stopped suddenly making Dean run into him.
"Why are you following me?" The man asks.
"I'm not. Why do you think I am?" Dean asks snidely.
"I don't know. Anyway my names Angel" he says holding out his hand.
"Angel? Sounds kinda girly" Dean smiles.
"Yeah well what's your name?" Angel asked.
"Dean Winchester"
"Your a Winchester?" Angel asked surprised.
Dean pulled his hand back and grabbed a knife out of his pocket.
"Only demons know who I am" he says in a fighting stance. Angel scoffed.
"I'm a vampire but I'm good I used to fight evil with the slayer-"
"What?" Dean asked shocked.
"You know Buffy?"
"Yeah, we used to be together" Angel said making Dean clench his jaw.
"Wait are you one of her new boyfriends?" Angel asked.
"New boyfriends? I'm her new boyfriend, as in singular" Dean replied annoyed.
"Well why aren't you with her?"
"You didn't hear?" Dean asked and Angel raised his eyebrows.
"She's dead." Dean whispered.
"Buffy's... No, no she can't be" Dean just shook his head. They exchanged numbers and Angel left, leaving Dean alone at the bar.
Dean walked back to his hotel and laughed to himself. Buffy, with a vampire? Ha. Well now he was talking to one instead of killing it so Its pretty much the same thing. He went in to the hotel and slept.

Only a couple days passed before Willow thought about bringing Buffy back. The scoobys hurried to find all of the supplies, not telling Sam, Dawn, or Spike about their plan. They set out for the spell casting telling Sam and Dawn they were going to Xander's to watch some movies.
Dawn and Sam held hands as they walked into the kitchen.
"Babe?" Sam asked.
"Hmm?"
"Do you think Dean will come back?" Dawn turned to look at him.
"Sam... I don't know, but I can't see how he could just leave you. Your everything I've ever hoped for. I understand why he had to leave but he has to come back. Your to special to leave behind." She says. He smiles at her.
"I love you." He says loudly surprising her. She walks around the island and hugs Sam then kisses him.
"I love you so much Sam Winchester" She whispers and kisses him. The back door opens and Spike walks in.
"Oh god" he says and covers his eyes making Sam and Dawn pull away from each other.
"Well you could try knocking" Dawn says.
"I didn't expect people to be making out in the kitchen pet"
She went back to the fridge and pulled out ice cream and two spoons.
"Here Sam" she says handing him a spoon.
"Well I'm gonna go" Spike says.
"Oh wait where's the scoobys?" He asks before leaving.
"They said they were going to Xander's to watch movies" Sam replied not looking at Spike.
"Great" Spike mutters and walks out.
"Ya know he hasn't been the same" Dawn says staring at the door.
"No one has" Sam says and she looks back at him.
"Yeah, but he loved her just like Dean did"
"I guess"
"What? I'm just worried about him"
"Yeah I know I just don't understand why"
"He's part of the scoobys"
"Okay" he said a little annoyed.
"I'm not saying I wanted him to be with Buffy, I'm just saying"
"I'm not mad Dawn" he says and smiles at her.
"Good because I can't lose you" she says and kisses him again.
"I can't lose you either" he whispers against her lips.
"Well, no ones home" Dawn says smiling and walking towards the stairs. Sam stands up and rushes after her up the stairs, both of them laughing.
