When morning rays fell over Emma's face, she groaned in sleep.
For her massive headache and now these sunrays are a cherry on top. Its like someone is poking needles inside her head.
Groaning in sleep she sat up with the help of her elbows and put her head on head post.
But when she opened her eyes and scanned her surrounding her eyes widened and she sat up straight.
She was in a daze that all the previous happenings were just in her dreams. But her daze cracked when needles started to poke her again.
She rubbed her head but felt a bandage on her head.
When she remembered what happened last time when she was conscious, her eyes welled up with tears.
Why does this happen to her only. What wrong she has done to get herself wrapped in this supernatural shit!
Emma flinched when the door opened with a force. Her eyes nearly popped out watching Matteus furious gaze.
Matteus was packing back and forth.
He was tensed because his mate had seen him in his most dangerous form, his werewolf form.
And here Leo too was being restless in his brain. Its been seven hours that his mate hasn't opened her eyes yet. He had not let Matteus sleep a wink of eye in hope that Emma would open her eyes any second.

Well the moment Matteus has brought his mate into the palace he told his beta Xavier to get everything about his mate.
But what's the point in knowing everything about his mate when he couldn't even keep her safe.
In his whole 244 years of life Matters had never been this edgy. Not even when they kicked him out.
Taking a deep breath, he decided to pay a visit to his room.
No one even crossed his path since he came back with an unconscious Emma in his arms. Be it because of his bloodshot eyes or his demeanour. His aura itself was speaking of danger. He was hella furious with Emma for stepping out of the palace.
When he reached his room his steps halted hearing his mates heartbeat.

And with a furious expression, pushed the door. But due to his power it looked like he just kicked them open.
And then his gaze met with Emma's scared one.
