The next day came far too quickly for Kellyn's liking, who was tossing and turning in his nest, narrowly missing knocking out his partner in the process.

- Please Ho-Oh...Just 5 more minutes....

Realizing that he couldn't go back to sleep, the brunet reluctantly got up, preparing for the day.

When he and Fischl finally emerged from their lair, they saw Elaine talking to Ollie. Had she succeeded in becoming his friend?

- / He seems quite comfortable now./

- (We can say thank you to our beloved Mechanic! By the way...Do you really think he set the forest on fire?)

- / No...At least not on purpose. He doesn't looks like a bad person to me./

- Oh, Kellyn! Good morning!

- "Hello Elaine and hello to you too Ollie!"

- Slept well?

- "I'm fine, but I would have preferred to be able to sleep a little more..."

- Haha! I understand you.

The two laughed, the man remaining silent as always, before a ringtone abruptly interrupted them.

- Voicemail! Voicemail! Barlow here. Kellyn, we need you in Pueltown! Come as soon as possible!

- Oh? It's rare for the chief to be in such a hurry...Don't worry, we'll take care of the base. Go join him in Pueltown!

- "Roger!"

And so, this day began with our duo making their way to the port city at a sustained pace.

- Do you think something bad happened?

- (We'll find out when we get there, I guess...)

The sea air soon reached their nostrils, telling them that they had arrived at their destination. Moreover, the leader of the Vientown base was waiting for them at the entrance to the city.

- Kellyn! Fischl! You're here! Come on you two, Professor Hastings is getting impatient.

They then followed the adult, not asking themselves too many questions, and quickly arrived at the docks where the bridge keeper, Brook, was.

- Oh? You're the Ranger from last time, right?

- "It's me. Nice to see you again, Mr. Brook."

- Well, there he is Brook. Can you now say why you don't want to lower the bridge?

And a Murkrow passed...

- (Wait...Are you being used as a bartering system or am I dreaming?)

- / Some people are stubborn, haha...!/

While the bird sighed in exasperation, the second adult scratched the back of his neck in embarrassment.

- It's not that I don't want to lower it, but rather that I CAN'T.

- Excuse me?

- You must remember that, right, uh...Kellyn?

- "Correct."

- Well, after the incident with this Team Dim thing, I wanted to swim after them...

The brunet knew what was coming, much to his dismay.

- Well, while in the currents, I lost the key in the middle of the Puel sea.

Bingo.

- (....Is he serious?)
