Previously , the Dazzlings have found out that Sunset Shimmer's book is a messenger to Equestria. It had a message stating that there are new pendants on Mount Canterlot. The rainbooms have heard of the pendants as well and are going to try to get them before the Dazzlings do.
Aria gave the map to Adagio. She looked at it with a confused expression. "Aria what kind of chicken scratch are you giving me?! I don't understand at all what it is saying!"
"That's all it has, and technically they are road signs not a whole other language."
Adagio rolled her eyes. "Well let's go."
Sonata jumped up and started running. "A road trip! I'm so excited!"
Adagio pulled her hood over her head and gave an angry glare. Aria glared as well, yet amused.
Sonata started to sing.
Adagio pulled her hood farther. " Stop it Sonata! You know we can't sing anymore! Ugh! You sound like a dying killer whale trying to flip over!"
Sonata continued to sing louder while the Adagio and Aria plugged their ears.
Meanwhile, the Rainbooms have started the journey to Mount. Canterlot. Sunset Shimmer was following the map that Pinkie gave her.
She whispered to herself. " I hope we get back on time for the school dance on Saturday. I'm really hoping that Thunder Ash will ask me to the dance."
Rarity came close to her. "Did I just hear a boy?! Sunset Shimmer has a crush on a boy?!"
Sunset covered her mouth with her hand. "Shh! I don't want anyone to know."
Pinkie opened her mouth. "Are you guys talking about Thunder Ash, the guy Sunset Shimmer has a crush on?"
Sunset's jaw dropped. "How did you know?"
"Well he came to SugarCube Corner the other day telling me about this girl he likes who has red hair and golden highlights."
Sunset looked at her hair. "I have red hair and golden highlights, maybe he was talking about me?!" She started twirl her hair with her finger and blushed.
Pinkie scratched her hair. "Maybe I think. He didn't get a chance to tell me her name."
Rarity stepped in. "Well it has to be you. You are the only girl I know that has red hair and golden highlights."
They hugged Sunset.
Applejack cut in. "Its nice that we all like guys and all but we got to hurry or the Dazzlings will get their grubby hands on the new necklaces."
Sunset stopped and got serious. "Yea, guys we should get going."
Back to the Dazzlings, they decided to take camp in a cave. It was very creepy, but it was better than their alley. Adagio looked at the sky as it faded into darkness. Even though she is cruel, she enjoys sunsets. Aria and Sonata was arguing as usual, but looking at the sunset makes her forgot about that, their horrible life, and her fears. Its something that almost makes her happy.
She looked at a shooting star and made a wish. "I wish we can get the pendants back soon, so then I can finally sleep in peace knowing that we are going to be alright." She shed a tear. She went back to the girls and huddled together to go to sleep.
