Previously, Thunder Ash was at the alley and asked Adagio if she would go to the dance with him as his date. She accepted so she can brainwash the students at the dance.
It was now Friday night and the Dazzlings were practicing for their performance tomorrow night.
"From the top again! This isn't amateur hour! This is our chance to take over again, and you idiots can't stay on key!"
"We are just a little rusty Adagio! Can you chill for one second?!" Aria blew her hair out of her face.
"We still haven't figured out what we are wearing Adagio.." Sonata slumped.
"This isn't the time for dress up Sonata! This performance is everything! It has to be perfect!" Adagio grabbed Sonata by the collar.
Aria pushed Adagio away from Sonata. "It will be if you just chill out!"
Adagio calmed down. "Alright. I'm sorry, this is something silly to fight about."
They started back from the top of the song. 'Power and Control
I'm gonna make you fall'
They finished the song and Adagio cracked a smile. "That was pretty good girls. Just keep doing that and we will take over this world!" She laughed maniacally.
"Good cause I'm getting tired." Sonata yawned.
"Yeah me too." Aria stretched.
"You guys can not go to sleep now! We have to keep practicing!" demanded Adagio.
"Come on Dagi we're tired."
Adagio held her head high.
The girls continued to sing until they passed out at two in the morning.
Meanwhile, the rainbooms were taking Sunset home.
They all decided to stay at Pinkie's house for the day. Sunset sat on Pinkie's bed with attitude.
"You alright, SugarCube. You seem um well..." Apple Jack looked around.
"Angry. I'm not angry. Nor upset. I didn't like him that much."
All of them stared at Sunset.
"Fine! I did! I just wanted someone to like me for once and not be forced to. I know you guys like me and everyone else at CHS but no matter what I still get reminded of who I was before and being near him made me forget that. He made me feel like I was perfect. But to figure out it was my imagination crushed me."
"Oh Sunset! I'm so sorry. That curly haired Cheeto is going down!" Rarity stomped.
Pinkie pie jumped up. "Actually we are going down. I've heard Thunder Ash saying that the Dazzlings have a gig for the dance."
"Like who would think the Dazzlings are good now, you saw how they treated Sunset Shimmer after the fact she turned into-" AppleJack nudged Rainbow Dash. "Hey!"
"None of that now!" Apple Jack glared at Rainbow Dash.
Sunset looked down and sobbed quietly. "I'm done being picked on by Adagio and her friends."
"So that's her name!" Rarity put her hands on her hips.
"Duh! I know all their names, Adagio Dazzle the orange one, Aria Blaze the purple one, and Sonata Dusk the blue one." Pinkie gasped for air.
Sunset smiled a little. Of course Pinkie knew their names. She knows everyone.
Later on in the day, the dazzlings woke up and realized the time of day.
Adagio sprang up from the mattress. "Wake up! Its Saturday! We fell asleep!"
Sonata rubbed her eyes." Adagio we're fine, the dance isn't until tonight."
"But we don't have anything to wear other than these jackets."
"Don't worry about that, Thunder and I bought dresses for us. He also got you this flower thing to put on your wrist." Sonata gave Adagio the flower object.
Adagio slipped it onto her wrist. "I think its a flower bracelet."
Aria woke up. "What! I'm trying to sleep! Can you two roosters shut it?!" She turned to her side.
Sonata and Adagio glared at Aria. "Looks like Aria woke up on the wrong side of bed." Sonata laughed.
As the day became evening the rainbooms and the Dazzlings start to get ready for the dance. They did their hair and makeup and put on their beautiful dresses. Sunset was still a little upset because of Thunder not going to the dance with her. She was also furious because he is taking Adagio, out of all people.
The rainbooms took a limo and the Dazzlings were picked up by Thunder Ash in his nice car.
As they step in they felt the vibrations of the loud music. It looked like a truly magical night. The theme was under the stars.
The Dazzlings went to the back of the stage to practice before they go on in fifteen minutes.
Adagio was having a panic attack. "What if we're not any good?! We get banished again?! The rainbooms get rid of us once and for all! Is it hot in here?!"
Aria motioned someone to get a chair. "Calm down. We're going to do fine."
Adagio put her hand on her forehead. "Ugh..I think I'm going to be sick."
