Previously, the dazzlings went on stage and performed at the dance, but instead of receiving negative energy they lost it. Thunder flirted with Sunset ending up with her leaving the school and disappearing. Now the rainbooms had left the school dance to find her.
They were at the front doors of the school pacing around.
"Why are we just standing around when we can go find Sunset?!" said Rainbow dash impatiently.
"We are waiting for Twilight to come. She can tell us what's going on. Sunset said she got a message from Twilight saying that she is coming." Apple jack explained.
"Then what's taking her so long!"
The portal opened and Twilight stepped out. "I'm here! Sorry I took long, spike had a little accident."
Pinkie searched her hair. "Did he poop?!"
"No, he hurt his paw so my friends in Equestria are going to take care of him while I'm gone. That's enough about me so what is going on here?"
Rarity came closer. "The Dazzlings are back and Sunset is missing. I think it has to do with the new guy in school that Sunset has a crush on. But he likes Adagio."
"Who is Adagio? And who is the new guy?"
Applejack crossed her arms. "Adagio is the main singer of the Dazzlings with the big orange hair and the new guy is named Thunder Ash."
"Ok thanks for the catch up. Now before finding Sunset, I want to know more about this Thunder guy and the Dazzlings."
Twilight and the rest of the rainbooms walked back into the dance where Thunder and Adagio are still dancing.
"Stop right there Thunder Ash!---"
Adagio sighed in relief. "Oh thank goodness, this was getting too weird for me." She then went backstage.
"Where is Sunset Shimmer?"
Thunder changed his expression. "What do you mean? Did something happen to her?"
"You know what happened! You did something to her!"
Thunder had a concern look. "You must be confused, I was talking to her one second and when I turned my back she disappeared. She might have left the school dance."
"Do you know where?!"
He shook his head.
Twilight and the others left the school dance.
Thunder went backstage to Adagio. "Hey, what's up?."
Adagio sat on a chair holding her head along with the others. "I don't feel good."
"My head hurts!" Aria moaned.
Thunder came closer to Adagio in concern. "What happened?"
"We sang and instead of absorbing energy ours was drained." Sonata moaned.
"Maybe you guys needed more practice."
Adagio snapped. "We did practice for a long time! A lot! I know we sounded good! There is something wrong with these pendants!"
"How about you guys sing one more time? Encore! Encore! Encore!"
"We're too weak." Aria complained.
Thunder looked into Adagio's eyes. "Just one more time Dagi?"
Adagio looked in his eyes as well and her eyes flashed green.
"Um, maybe we should do it one more time."
Aria stoop up weakly. "Adagio we can't go on again!"
"IF I SAY I WANT TO DO IT AGAIN THEN I WANT TO DO IT AGAIN!"
Aria and Sonata jumped.
"Now, go and practice before we go on again."
"Adagio!" Aria screamed
"GO!"
They both ran to the dressing room.
Thunder rubbed Adagio's shoulders. "You did the right thing. You guys will be amazing. I love you Adagio, you're incredibly sexy when you're in control."
Adagio came back to reality for a second. "Wait, those girls were saying that Sunset Shimmer was missing, what happened to her."
"Nothing Adagio the girl is weird and too nosey. Trying to get in my business all the time. She probably left because she was jealous of you being with me. That girl just has the hugest crush on me."
"You're so full of it!" Adagio shoved him out of her way and left backstage.
She ran out of the dance to see the Rainbooms sitting on the steps in defeat.
"Thunder Ash had something to do with Sunset Shimmer's disappearance."
Twilight got up. "Where is she?"
"I don't know but I don't think he is from this world like you and I. I think he is a sirenix."
Pinkie pie jumped. "Not the sirenix!" "I don't actually know what that is!" She whispered to Fluttershy.
Twilight gasped. "I picked up a book about Sirenixs, I picked up just in case I might need it!"
She went in her bag and took out a black book that had neon green print. "Sirenixs are similar to sirens but are ten times stronger. They use their charm to get other ponies to do what they want. Sirens and Sirenixs do not get along because Sirenixs can absorb the siren's power when they are using it, making them weak, and the Sirenixs stronger. If the Sirenix takes all of a Sirens the power the Sirenixs will dominate the Siren race and they will be wiped out and the Sirenixs will multiply."
"He took some of our power when we performed! He is going to take it again! I have to find my girls!"
Twilight closed the book. "The only way to stop him is by overpowering him. Your songs have to have an effect on him. They don't now because he is similar to a siren. So you have to make your song more powerful and effective that its too strong for him to take your power."
"I will try."
She ran back into the dance.
Meanwhile the Rainbooms try to put the pieces together, to find Sunset.
They stopped and saw a girl with red hair and yellow highlights banging her head on a wall.
"Sunset!" The Rainbooms ran to her.
She turned around and then turned back to hitting her head on the wall again.
"Sunset! What in heavens are you doing?" Rarity flipped her hair.
"I'm trying to get him out of my head. He has hurt me so much. He told me I can have anything I want if he I team up with him and hurt the Dazzlings. But I don't want to do that. I am a changed girl."
Twilight went around Sunset." We need to hold hands to use the magic of friendship to break the spell Thunder cast on her."
They held hands together and a pink shield had surrounded them which made Sunset stop banging her head on the wall.
She blinked twice and her eyes turned back from bright green to her normal aqua eyes. "Guys there is something up with Thunder I think he is a Sirenix!"
She rubbed her head. "Wow I have a massive headache."
"We already know but now we have to help the Dazzlings stop him." Twilight grabbed her hand.
"What? We are helping the Dazzlings?"
"There is no time to explain we have to go."
Meanwhile the Dazzlings faced Thunder as he smirked evilly.
"Guess you finally figured me out Adagio. But this is my world. Only one of us will be here." He paused.
"Its going to be me."
